Isn't that the point? I mean she made a hasty decision based within her anger. A decision that was to base her whole life and now she is stuck. Stuck within the parameters of that decision because of its sanctity and hold within the society. Agreed her husband isn't someone she should live with. Someone in the show (sorry don't know their name) put it correct. That everyone has to faces and a husbands face is only known to a wife unless she divulges it. Unfortunately current Kumud isn't that woman. I'm sure if Kalika hadn't come she might have left but again she was gonna do with thinking, suddenly her mind kicked in. It has the wrong thought I might add.

lol kumud has just insulted her dad by lying to saubhagya devi about self-respect. her husband gets drunk, abuses her every night and sleeps with a filthy servant and she decides to stay quiet simply because the servant begged her to do so. what happened to her self-respect and ego that she had in the beginning of this show?

Kumud dear wake up and smell the roses please. Your behaviour towards Saras in not done at all. Stop barking at him. Yes he hurt you but he never absued you like your husband who is sleeping with the maid. The lowest form of absue any woman has to go thru. Saras has made a mistake and he has apologised for it. Open your eyes and see his love for you. You have self respect as well stop yourself from going thru this torture and go to Saras
