Hi Everyone,
New here in the forum.. well well i visited Fatehpur Sikri recently and i must say Jodha's Palace is something to see... Akbar surely loved her as you can see she was given her own palace in Fathepur Sikri and as well as the Mandir. Her palace consisted of four corners according to the season she would stay in each of them. And the guide told me that Akbar had a secret door from her palace to his bedroom 😉. The door you can actually see in Akbar's room.
Also Jodha's Kitchen is something to see as well. I also took millions of pics and especially Akbar's room ... His BED !!!😳 My guide took me everywhere he could possibly as i was so eager to know everything about the history of Fatehpur Sikri.
Whenever you guys get a chance in life... do visit Agra. As soon as i stepped into Fathepur Sikri, the bg music of JA was humming in my ears and i felt that they still somewhat live there ... ❤️
In addition, I visited Akbar's tomb aka Sikandra !!! The first episode of JA was shot there ..the scene where they are talking to each other through the window and talking about the past ...😳
( I don't know how to upload pics ) 😕

this is an actual gold carved on the walls ... the other gold is looted and burnt down as the Tomb was burnt by many looters in the past to get the gold out...this is the last one left... 😭

These are believed to be graves of other memebers of Akbar's family in the same tomb !!!

another tomb !

lovely architecture !!!

Agra Fort !!!

on my way to Fatehpur Sikri !!!

My Raju Guide 😃

This believed to be the place or labor room where the ladies of Harem used to give birth !

This was the bathing pool of Akbar!

Panch Mahal. All the ladies and Akbar believed to sit here in the evening and enjoyed performances near Anoop Talao

Astrologer's sitting area

Anoop Talao... Tansen used to sing here !!! He later married Akbar's daughter

Beautiful carving ..this is pomegranade.
