Salman khan's family ignores katrina kaif

Bollywood actor Salman Khan never went public with his affair with Katrina Kaif and even after their break up Salman and Katrina faithfully remained friends.

After their break-up the two came together for the super hit 'Ek Tha Tiger'.

It was reported that Salman was not happy with Katrina when she signed 'Jab Tak Hai Jaan' with Shah Rukh Khan but Katrina's whirlwind romance with Ranbir Kapoor is the final nail in the coffin of their friendship.

Katrina Kaif used to be the poster girl for Salman's every project - from walking the ramp for his NGO Being Human to opening any store. Her presence on every family function and event was predictable.

She became best buddy (BFF) of Salman's younger sisters Arpita Khan and Alvira Khan. Remember how we saw pictures of Katrina Kaif having an Iftar dinner with sisters Alvira (Khan) Agnihotri and Arpita Khan along with Mini Mathur, last year during Ramadan?

The group was having Iftar dinner at a popular food joint in Mumbai and thus bonding with Salman Khan's sister. Arpita posted a picture of the group on Twitter.

But this year the sisters decided to stay away from the actress.

So it is unlikely that there will be any Iftar party or Eid party for Katrina Kaif with the Khan family.

Katrina who used to be often seen in Galaxy apartments (Salman's residence) is no longer as close to the family as she used to be.

Couple of days back Salman's brother Arbaaz Khan celebrated his birthday but Katrina was not invited; moreover, wife Malaika Arora Khan was never really fond of her.

As a struggler when Salman brought Katrina under his wings, the Khan family also embraced her with open arms. But Katrina is now one of the top heroines of the industry and doesn't need any mentor.

Katrina has moved on in life and willing to let go of any attachment with Salman - including the car gifted to her by the ex-lover.

Recently, Salman Khan couldn't control his temper on the mere mention of his ex-flame Katrina Kaif. Salman got upset when a reporter asked him about Katrina Kaif and Ranbir Kapoor's vacation pictures.

Katrina is in the spotlight since her photos of holidaying at a beach in Spain with boyfriend Ranbir were splashed all over the media.

While Katrina remains tight-lipped, it is evident that her relationship with Ranbir Kapoor is going strong.

This maybe a very strong reason why the Khan family has now distanced itself from the actress.

Salman has been linked with Iulia and a picture of them having dinner together was leaked.

Till now there was no image to prove anything between the Romanian actress and Salman but now these series of images have set the tongues wagging.
