Eid celebrations with Azad and Zoya

Just as people are gearing up to end the month long Ramzan with a bash, so are the channels of Indian television. To light up the festivities, the channels have made arrangements, to make the festival larger than life this year. Various channels are getting ready to highlight the Eid celebrations, in their own sweet way!

In fact, the celebrations are bound to double for Colors channel, which recently completed five successful years of running, on 21st July, 2013. The reason for that celebration goes bigger and better with Eid, whereby popular shows like Madhubala, Jhalak Dikhlaa Jaa and many more will rig in the spirit of Eid.

Colors is all set to launch a big Eid splash called 'Jashn-E-Eid', which is all set to go on air, on the forthcoming weekend. The Eid sequence will witness Akshay Kumar, in his 'dawood' avatar, promoting his upcoming film 'Once upon a time in Mumbai Dobara'. In fact, the actor has reportedly shot a few frames with the show's anchor, Ragini Khanna, where the lovely lady will be seen wooing the actor.

Although there are more glamorous elements, by way of Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha, but the makers are currently all mum about it and state that things are still at the planning stage.

However, as per resources, Rithvik and Bharti Singh will be hosting the star studded show. Small screen actors like Sanaya Irani, Jay Bhanushali, Mahi Vij, Karan Wahi and Gurmeet Choudhary are also going to add to the star studded ceremony for Eid celebrations. The program is believed to be telecast on Colors, on 11th August, at 7.00 p.m.

Moving on to other channels, there is Zee TV, which is all set to ignite the Eid festivities with their very popular show 'Qubool Hai', which revolves around two Muslim families. Going with the current flow of the show, the makers have decided to double the excitement by bringing in a full 3 hour long episode, to mark the union of Zoya and Asad and the Eid festivities.

In fact, Zoya will be helped by Asad to re-unite with her father on the occasion of Eid. As the family will revel in the festivities, Javed Ali will take the stage to perform on songs like 'Kun faya kun', 'Arziyan saari' and many more popular festive numbers. Watch out for 'Qubool Hai Eid special' episode on Zee Tv, at 6 p.m, on 10th August.

In an attempt to take the celebrations to a star studded level, television characters like Tanveer, Charu and Chitrasi will also be teaming up with stars to the likes of Parineeti Chopra, Kareena Kapoor and Sonakshi Sinha, to groove into their songs. 'Jhallah Wallah', 'Dil mera muft ka' and 'Sawaar loon' are the songs, which apparently will be performed by them.

Other than the popular daily soap, dance reality shows also have celebrations planned under their wings. The kids of 'DID L'il Masters' and 'India's Best Dramebaaz' will also sway, to mark the festivities of Eid on the weekend. 'DID Super Moms' will not lag behind and will also be seen grooving to peppy numbers, to mark the effect.
