Hey guys,

Do you think celebrities should be rolemodels?

Or do you think we should not see them as rolemodels?

As some have bad influences on young children growing up, whereas some are good rolemodels like Amir Khan

I don't think celebs should be role models .. likee they're there for us for entertainment and only entertainment .. they're not anybody you should look up too .. they're human just like us .. they make mistakes they wanna go out and party .. its just the things they do gets put out in papers, on television and what not .. so many other regular ppl do the exact same thing but there stuff doesn't get broadcasted on tv .. no matter how much I love reading/hearing celeb gossip .. sometimes I feel that they need to be left alone and given space

You never know who children pick as their role model. Their minds are unmoulded and whatever they're subjected to more often, they pick rolemodels from similar field.

I have no problem with celebs being role-models, but i have a problem when celebs portray things that are not so good for the children and when children copy their acts! It is the responsibility of celebs to be positive role models!

But, its parents duty to ensure that no matter who the role model of their kids are, the kids do not go wayward, and don't try to copy their role models, but work to be better than them in any field theyr pursue!

Hey Anon, long time no see? 😊

Well, I think saying whether or not people should idealize the "celebrities" would be stereotyping according to me.

We can and should idealize whoever is a good person. Now, there are many good nature celebrities like Shahrukh Khan and many others who can serve as good idols but there are many others also who could have a bad influence on children.

So it really varies from person to person but you can't really say all celebrities are bad and shouldn't be idealized. All good persons are given this privelige!

i completely agree with you.if a celebrity is a nice human being and if they do have qualities which can b looked upto then i don't see a reason as to y they shouldn't be role models.
