FF : We are never ever getting back together

Guys, this is my 2nd ever attempt on a FF. The first time it was on Pavitra Rishta forum but I never continued lol. Anyway, hope you guys like it.

Chapter : That fateful day - 8th Part I

Raghu and Antara have been friends for as long as they both can remember. Their mothers were best friends since college which eventually passed down to the next generation. Although Raghu was good looking, intelligent (A* star student) and popular Antara was never attracted to him. But Raghu was. On the surface though, it seemed Raghu is interested in girls who wore loud makeup, read twilight and went to Justin Bieber concerts( to be "cute). He was friends with such girls but deep down he was always into Antara. Antara was low key, kept to herself and watched Anime. She was beautiful in her own way. She believed simplicity was the key to life and beauty. She only thought of Raghu as her "best" friend. However, things changed when Raghu asked her out in front of the whole school in 8th grade. Antara , super embarrassed,said yes as she did not want to come across as the heartbreaker. Raghu was VERY pleased. He was the happiest person ever. But, Antara did not want a good looking/intelligent/popular guy ; she wanted a guy who would tell her she is beautiful, who would CARE and show it. Raghu was loving but expression was non existent for him. Raghu's philosophy was he SHOWS it. As far as Antara is concerned, she doesn't see it.

Raghu comes to Antra as she is making her way towards her mom's car.

Raghu, jogging towards her says, " Antara look I am sorry, I shouldn't have asked you out in front of everyone but there was no other way you would give me a chance"

Antara, wrinkles her nose and turns to face him "well, I am glad you are aware. I don't know how you can even THINK about it Raghu. You are not what I want"

Raghu had a faint smile on his face "I have loved you for as long as I can remember. Yes, you will never understand that but that's fine. Just one chance?

Antara, her face softened and she felt bad "Okay, Raghu, you better have something cool planned not a candlelight dinner or a bouquet. Surprise me!"

Raghu was ecstatic! All he could say was "I will"

Raghu is now in his bedroom, pacing and thinking of an AMAZING plan that will sweep Antara off her feet.

What happens next? Oh well, you will have to wait till Sunday.
