Lingering Limelight-Friendship,A Thornful Rose

"I've cancer.I'll die soon"-he said to me

With a wry smile in his lips...obedient tears

"don't be afflicted dear chum,the hurlyburly is over."

He gently patted my shoulder & gazed at me.

For the 1^st time,I touched his cheek & wiped a desperate tear.

I was just speechless...O heart,stop bullshitting me.

After 2 days,he met me again & grabbed my hand-

"why have you ventilated the news??what's the need??"

Now,my impulse was uncontrollable..I set myself free from him.

"Haven't I any right regarding you,my besty??"

My voice choked,he held my hand again...

I touched his curly hair & stated murmuring-"I love you."

He bowed down his head for few minutes...as a friend!

From the eyesight of male friend

"I don't want to lose you"...my inner heart screamed.

She's becoming a small point & vanishing from my sight...

Echo of her "I love you"was hovering in the air..& I..began to run...

But my brain cells betrayed & bashed me up.

"I wanna be with you"....my last drop of power came to an end.

& I fell unconscious with a sound of gay foot-steps.

From the girl

"I love you as a cloud loves rain.

I love you as a tree loves its buds.

But dear,I never want you to love such a thalacemia patient.

So,I dismayed you while you expressing your passion about me.

Now,live a blithesome life with my brain-cells..good bye."

I kissed him on his forehead...here,the ICU,my final destination.

From male friend

"That's friendship you offer me as a rose of life"...my bolster got wet,

All on a sudden I felt a mild touch on my cheek...

"I can't tell you about my thalecemia,as I don't want to hurt you.

Be happy forever,leave pensive mood & keep making another happy

Best bye my best friend,I too wanna be with you...but fate!!"

What a dream!! So ruthless! I got up with reddened eyes.

The rose tree,her last friendship gift wished me with its yellow buds & flowers-

Best-ever happy friendship day,darling friend!

Friendship is what you can deny but only when you're lacking life-drops.
