CHAPTER 30

~~ piya aaye na...

manvi came back to her room after promising vanshika that she would eat with virat when he comes back. manvi admired the flowers and took one red rose out of them and sat on the couch thinking about how beautiful her life was... no no how beautiful her life still is...
manvi : i know you were angry virat but that time would be soon when you yourself will come and talk to me... i know you jaan... you will come back to me... and you yourself will make everything okk... ohh god how much i love this habit of yours... i wonder how you always take a first step and sort out things in fraction of seconds as if nothing ever happened... but what changed you... i have no idea... i really dont... i mean i know from such a long time but you never were one of those who take an initiative to sort out things... you always wanted me to take a step and apologise to u... but now... now the tables have turned... you came and make it up to me whether it was my fault of yours... did my love change you or the credit goes to my princess... god knows... i know only one thing that i love you... love you soo much and i promise...i promise nothing would go wrong... whatever happened last night will never happen again... never...

time passed and manvi fell asleep on the couch still holding a rose in her hand. virat returned home and saw manvi sleeping on the couch with a rose in her hand. he knew she was waiting for him and fell asleep in the process... virat scooped up manvi in his arms and took her to the bed. he carefully put her in the bed and covered her with the quilt and took the rose from her hands. virat got up to leave when his heart stooped him and he sat close to manvi and caressed her hair.
virat : i know you are waiting for me to take the place step and i wouldnt mind taking it. but something is bothering me manvi... trust me i am not angry on you... i am angry on myself and i feel disgusted... how can i behave this like this...?? last night i said so many things things to you without even thinking... i hurted you manvi and this thing is giving me a pain which is unexplainable as well was unbearable... i promised that i would keep you happy and would let a single tear come in your eyes... but last night i myself brought tears in your eyes... i hurted the angel who brought light in my life... i hurted the girl who supported me and my daughter in the time we were all lonely... i cant believe i hurted you... how can i break my promise...??? par main kya karun kal raat... kal raat maine wo keh dia jise main apne dil mein chupa ke baitha tha... i am unable to keep my words partner... i really want a baby... humara baby... kuch zyada toh nahi chahta main... par dont worry... ab ye topic kabhi nahi ayega... i can live without a baby but not without you... we are happy... we are complete... we dont need anything because we have everything... everything a couple needs... but give me sometime manvi... sometime to kill this new cropped up wish of mine... just sometime more... till then i will have to maintain this distance between us... because staying close to you, would stop me from letting go my desire of having a baby with you... i love u manvi...

next day
manvi woke up and found herself in her bed and she smiled thinking that virat must have brought her to bed when he returned. she saw virat sleeping with an innocent smile on his face.
manvi : i love you virat... (kissing his cheek)
virat scrunched his nose and turned to the other side. manvi smiled and ruffled his hair saying " bilkul apni beti pe gaye ho... i mean wo tum pe gayi hai... "
manvi got up and went to wake up her darling daughter...
manvi : good morning jaana...
kasak : sone do na...
manvi : haww... kal toh mera baby jaldi soya tha... fir bhi neeni aayi... why so...???
kasak : kyunki baby ko aur sona hai... 🥱
manvi : baby aajkal kuch jyada hi naughty ho gaya hai...
