CHAPTER 27: FALLING FOR YOU! :)
The next morning… Suvreen's puffy eyes slowly opened and sure enough, Yuvraj was wrapped around her. Removing his arm, she got out of bed weak and started walking gently. She wore a robe over her ripped clothes and made her way to the bathroom, that's when she leaned against the wall, nearly falling, but she felt a pair of hands catching her before she touched the floor.
"Don't touch me!" Her response was cold.., pushing Yuvraj back. Gathering enough strength to move on, she finally went through the bathroom door and locked it. Suvreen wrapped her arm around her knees and cried her heart out.
While with Yuvraj, he sat down at the corner of the bed. Running his fingers through his hair in frustration. His anger shouldn't have lead to this, he admits, yesterday he was too harsh on her. He didn't understand how he could let his anger bring him to this point.
'I shouldn't did that to her..i'm such an idiot!" Yuvraj mumbling himself, but stopped when he heard the bathroom door unlock, with Suvreen walking out fully dressed. He ran up to her, but she didn't say a word, she just walked around him, pretending as if he wasn't there.
Yuvraj quickly wrapped his arms around her, instead of struggling, Suvreen stood there lifelessly. She felt his lips move from her hair all the way down to the side of her ears.. Her knees began to give out, and she fell in tears.
Yuvi: "Suvreen I.." He stopped after watching her fall to the floor crying. "I'm.. I'm.." he kneeled on the floor with her, all he wanted to do was make things right..
Suvi: "All this time, you only wanted me to beg you right?" she looked away from him, with silent tears falling down. "now you got what you wanted. I married you, you already have everything,.. And now all you need is to hear the pleading words coming out of my mouth, correct?"
Seeing this, Yuvraj angled her chin towards him..
Suvi: "I'm begging you, leave me alone.. You won Yuvraj. You already won.. Those were the things you needed right? Now you have it all."
She got up and left the room as Yuvraj just sat on the floor in shock. He remembers saying that he was going to make her beg him one day, and when that day comes, he was going to enjoy every minute of it.. "How come things turned out this way?" he thought to himself.
After leaving the house, Suvreen didn't know where else to go. Several minutes later, Suvreen made a phone call and drove herself to a cafe far from home.
THE CAFE
Soni: "Hi"
Suvi: "Hello" Suvreen said in a weak tone
Soni: "Suvreen...are you okay?"
Suvi: "I'm good"
Sonia could sense there is something that Suvreen is hiding from her
Soni: "Suvreen"
Suvi: "Hmnn"
Soni: "Is Yuvi treating you good?"
Suvi was stirring her cup of tea and when Sonia asked her the question,she stopped...
Suvi: "I guess you can say good"
Soni: "Suvreen,tell me the trruth...is everything okay between you and Yuvi?"
Suvreen know she can't hide the truth any longer and she seems to feel at ease to share her problem with Sonia as if Sonia could understand her womanly feelings more than the others.Suvreen told Sonia about Yuvraj's misunderstanding and what he did to her.Sonia couldnt help herself from getting teary thinking of how hurtful could it be for Suvreen to went through all those things.
Suvreen aimed her head to the window after telling Sonia everything and totally forget about the weather that have been raining cats and dogs since morning "Its still raining"
KHURRANA MANSION
Yuvi: "Is Suvreen home?" Yuvraj ask one of the maids
Maid: "No,lil master"
Suddenly the house phone rings
Yuvi: "Hello"
Samar: "Hello.. bro"
Yuvi: "What do you want?"
Samar: "I'm just calling to say...take good care of Suvreen"
Yuvi: "What?"
Samar: "Yesterday...i met Suvreen at the park...like i told u before at the hospital...i tried...to take her away from you"
Yuvi: "I don't understand"
Samar: "I told her about my feelings and got rejected...I guess there is someone far more precious to her than me and the others"
Yuvi: "What did you say?She rejected you?"
Samar: "Yes...aniway...wish u the best bro..."
Yuvi: "Thanks bro"
After the phone conversation Yuvraj realized that all the things he did to her was all his fault and he did it because of a misunderstanding.
Yuvraj walked up to the door and waited for her "Its raining,where could she go?"He asked himself "Forget it,i'll go find her"
That evening as Suvreen walked into her house,she couldn't stop thinking about what Sonia said
*Flashback
"Suvreen,i'm pretty sure Yuvraj has at least a little feeling for you.If not he wouldnt waste his time tries to marry you"
*Flashback ends
"If he has feelings,it will only be for you Sonia" Suvreen sighed
A sudden rush of thought was interrupted when one of the house maids ran over to her. "Miss Suvreen Miss Suvreen!" the maid called. "Lil master seems to have a fever."
Suvi: "How did he get a fever?"
Maid: "He returned home about an hour ago after going out to look for you." the maid replied. "and now he's up in the bedroom."
Suvreen walked upstairs and saw Yuvraj sleeping on the bedroom couch.She walked up to him and notices he is still in his wet clothes with a fever.
"Can you get me a bowl of hot water and a cloth please." Suvreen said and the maids quickly left the room. When the maids left, she went to get his clothes and changed him out of his wet outfit. After the maids came back with the water and the cloth, they helped Suvreen move Yuvraj onto the bed.
"That's all, thank you." the maids left and she began to wipe his face with the cloth. During that time, Yuvraj continuously threw his pillow away from him.
"What is wrong with you?" she uttered and felt his head. "He's getting warmer.. " she sighed sat on the bed next to him, moving his head into her lap. Continuing to wipe his face with the white cloth dipped in warm water. Although she was mad at him, she didn't want him to be sick because of her. Actually.. She didn't want him to be sick at all. "Get well...please…"she mumbles by herself
Yuvi: "Water.. Water.." he mumbled, coughing. She took the water on the headboard and lifted him up.
Suvi: "Careful, don't drink too fast. " she said. After feeding him, he laid his head back down and continued to sleep.
Several hours later, Yuvraj opened his eyes.. And there he saw her, she was right in front of him, asleep with her head against the side of the headboard. And her hands.. Her hand was on his forehead. He reached his hand out and caressed her gentle face.
"Hmm.." she woke up from the caressing and saw Yuvraj staring right back at her with a big smile and round eyes.
Suvi: "Are you feeling better?" she asked, feeling his head. "Oh good, you cooled down."
Yuvi: "Where'd you go?" he sweetly asked.
Suvi: "What do you mean? I was here," she replied.
Yuvi: "No, I meant when you left the house this morning."
Suvi: "I was at a cafe.. And if you don't believe me,Sonia was there too." she said and pulled her hands back
Yuvi: "I believe you.." he quickly answered as he pulled her hands back to his face and looked around, noticing that he was sleeping on her lap and looked back at her. "You could've let me sleep on a pillow."
Suvi: "I did, but you kept throwing it away, and I was tired of fetching." answered Suvreen as she wiped off the sweat around his face. He gently grabbed her hand once again and smiled. "Are you still mad at me?"
She looked at him and tried changing the subject. "I think you should get up now, I have to bring your porridge so you can take your medicine."
He stubbornly shook his head. "I'm not eating anything if your still mad at me."
Suvi: "Then you are going to die."
Yuvi: "I don't care." he responded. "You are not mad anymore right?" Suvreen smiled and nodded.
Suvi: "Ramu kaka!Can you bring in the porridge please."
After the porridge was brought in, Yuvraj was still refusing to eat. "What's wrong now?" she asked.
Yuvi: "I'm sick," he replied "You r supposed to feed me."
Suvi: "Why are you acting like such a baby?" she sighed and giggled at his reaction. "Okay, okay, I'll feed you." after feeding him, She fed him his medicine and told him to go back to sleep. "You can sleep here, I'll sleep on the couch." she said.
Yuvi: "No!"
Suvi: "What's wrong?" she asked.
Yuvi: "If you are going to sleep on the couch, then I'll go instead."
Suvi: "But you are sick, sleep here!" she ordered.
Yuvi: "Then sleep here with me." he said and went back to sleeping on her lap.
Suvi: "Is this how you plan on sleeping for tonight?" she asked.
"yup." he nodded and closed his eyes, but sat back up shortly. "Hold on, one more thing."
Suvi: "What?"
Yuvi: "Thank you." he smiled and kissed her on the cheek. "and sweet dreams." with that said, he went back with his head on her lap and fell asleep.
She smiled to herself and felt her cheek.. She pulled over the comforter and placed it upon him. "Good night." she whispered..
"Yuvraj.." she spoke to herself as she ran her fingers through his soft, silky hair. "You might not know this.. But I think,. I'm secretly falling for you.." with that she gave Yuvi who is sleeping a peck on his lips.
