I was so hoping for a positive twist in the end...

although I didn't read the book... I heard it has a SAD ending... I don't want Samud to have a sad ending of their love story! 🥱😔

The makers are following the novel, they called off that wedding, despite the fact that so many viewers were upset. Now, if that strong headed kumud thinks saras is not trustworthy, and continues to stay by her abusive hubby, and sugary in- laws, what can we do.

kumud cannot cheat on her hubby ( cos that's not how her character is portrayed) so we cannot expect more unless Pramad is dead. Despite this, I do not see that romantic magic ever returning. Widowed Kumud may have an option to be with Saras, provided she is willing to give him another chance (white chunni significance). This will be a modern age twist. I do not see this happening sooner.

Honestly, I have given up on their romance.

If the makers again decide to ignore the viewers and follow the novel, there is a possibility of a Saras-kusum Jodi ( correct me if I am wrong- according to the novel, widowed Kumud refuses to marry Saras, and requests him to marry Kusum).

At this time hard to tell if, makers will change the story.

SP always does the same...
instead of promoting the low TRP shows (although they have great stories), they promote the high TRP ones and the good stories' TRP get even lower!

More TRP, more sponsors, more air time, more promos. Once SC starts getting better TRP consistently, things will change. I recollect, the last promos we had seen were during the wedding. At that time TRPs must have been high ( correct me if I am wrong), cos viewers must have been highly interested in the samud wedding. Unfortunately, it did not happen.

Trying to make sense of anything SP does is like beating your head against a wall; the result is that we will have a headache and the wall is unaffected. The only thing we as loyal viewers can do is support, promote and continue watching it to make sure it continues.

We can continue to be as vocal as we can, the UK supports it and that's a major audience, I am in Canada and wished we had charts to show how popular it is here as well. Let the SC cast win more awards so that it will be almost impossible to ignore SC and it will do it on its own merits and strengths. It will survive and be stronger for going thru what it has with SP's indifference, kind of like how Samud will be stronger for going thru this tough time period now.

Anyways, I can feel your passion for the show, don't let SP taint that :) Sooner or later, SP's practices will lead to their own demise, what serial or director will want to work with SP knowing the way they work? Television is a cutthroat business and other channels will be quick to gain ground, even in the last few yrs, SP used to be a dominating force but the other channels have increased their viewerships.

Allowing SP and its policies to frustrate us or make us upset does nothing, it would be cool to see what alternatives we as viewers can do to increase the awareness of SC, maybe blogs, more social media campaigns to target people in colleges/universities etc. If we can harness the power of social media to promote the show, not just the official pages but individual or groups, it would be interesting to see.

Maybe a post or forum on here for ideas to increase awareness?

SP is always more interested in promoting their Saas Bahu crap shows! The last time they had a SC promo was like 2 months ago!!

How can you attract more audience like this? The TRP has improved despite this! So SP put your back into it and promote the show!
