i wud say.. this is one positive show unlike the negativity i feel in almost all so called romantic shows...

nt tht it doesnt show its own set of family issues.. bt unlike others.. it doesnt drag them.. if there is a prob.. its adressed.. n sorted.. before they move onto the next issue..

sthg i really really love abt the show..

I like the show very much. I am in the US. I am not Indian and watch it with my Indian neighbors.
I feel this show is not for the masses, but a minority group of people who can appreciate a concept that deals with real family type issues rather than ridiculous ficticious OTT drama.

i live in the US so i can't contribute to the TRP's...i wish i did though
i think this show has a lot of international fans... i know a lot of people who watches this show and enjoys it

my mom and me watch this show religiously and recently go my dad into the show...my dad never reacts to any show but he actually laughs and relates to the show and he can't stand indian dramas

i like the show because it is simple, not overly dramatic...and the lead does not sulk for days and actually communicates with her hubby...also she speaks her mind...kind of forgot where i was going with my point

but i am loving this show

Exactly.. Its different
I enjoy watching ChhanChhan
I've stood by it from the beginning and will continue to do so.
The usual drama type shows are getting boring and annoying.. love the way ChhanChhan is.
I don't see why ppl can't like it and accept it.

very well said!!👍🏼

I agree, despite being a family/ saas-bahu show, the melodrama factor is missing..that's why majority of TRP viewers are not being able to connect to the serial 😉...that's why shows like Diya aur baati, Ye rishta...etc consistently doing good w.r.t TRPs.

But, I enjoy watching CC and for me this show is a complete stress buster after a hectic day in office...

I think you've hit the nail on the head as far as the disconnect with trp audiences is concerned. Looking at the top trp show it's obvious that people like melodrama. The emotions in CC are portrayed subtly but I think Indian TV audiences are so used to seeing the camera pan across the faces of each of the actors in the scene turn by turn showing the same expression and of course the same response from everyone that they can't connect to a show where the emotions are shown through acting and not over acting. As much as I love CC for this reason I think the cvs might have to add some melodrama for the trp audiences but if they do it's going to be hard to maintain the lighthearted feel of the show.
