Sharad gifts Keerti an apartment

Sharad and Keerti Kelkar have been staying in rented accommodation all these years. However, that has changed with Sharad buying himself a plush flat in Oshiwara. The actor says it's his gift to Keerti, who celebrated her birthday on Sunday.

"In a way, it's my present to her. We've been thinking about moving into our own house for a long time now. Finally, we've got a place we can call our own," says Sharad.

Keerti adds that it is a 3 BHK flat that is currently being broken down to do interior work. "It will take at least three to four months before we actually move into our new house. I don't have any specific plans on the dcor, but my friend Vivek Popli is doing it for me."

When asked what Sharad gifted her for her birthday, she says, "He gave me a beautiful mangalsutra and a ring. I think he's the world's best husband and treated me like a queen on my birthday."

Even though it will be a while before they move into the new flat, work is already underway. "We haven't yet set a date for us to move in, but it will be soon. I want the interiors and furnishing to be done before we start living there," says Sharad.

Neighbour's envy

Interestingly, Sharad will have Manav and Shweta Kawaatra as his friendly neighbours, as they live in the same building. "We'll be living three floors above them, so it'll be cool to bump into Manav and exchange greetings."

These days, the actor has been shuttling between his shoots and escaping injuries on the set. "It has become a common sight for me to be bleeding from a scratched elbow or knee. My injuries have become a joke on the set."

The actor is also looking forward to attending his co-star Rajshri Thakur's wedding early next month. "I have met her fianc Sanjot, and he's a very nice guy. I am happy for Rajshri. She will be very happy with him."

When asked about Keerti's birthday celebration, he says, "It was a quiet affair. We had dinner with some close friends."

Sharad 😳 am sure kirti does not mind living anywhere as long as you are there.

Hmm, wonder why Kirti didn't say anything abt Rajshri's wedding 😉 I wonder what her reaction wud be if Saloni wud be their nxt door neighbors!!😆
