It was early morning when manyta woke up, she realized that she was hugging uday and sleeping, she wanted to move away but then the feel was just tempting . it felt so right to be in his arms, it made her feel safe, it gave her a sense of belonging, she looked at uday's sleeping face. He looked so innocent. She kissed his forehead, her lips trailing there more than necessary.

Uday had woken up the moment manyta has stirred, he closed his eyes to see her reaction and he was surprised to feel her lips on his forehead, he wished he could kiss her back, but no, it would mean giving up all that he had done till now

Manyta checked the clock, it was 5 30, she held uday tightly and slept…

Manveer woke up hearing the shrilling cry of the calling bell, manyta lazily got up and went to answer the door, uday woke up and followed her

It was jai at the door

"hi jiji" she said as she entered.

" what are you doing here? " asked manyta as she panicked

J: why are you so tensed??

It was when she spotted uday coming out of manyta's room, she raised her eyebrows in a questioning manner

J: jiji how could you? Pointing at uday . you are engaged , and still…

M: jai, its not like what you think

J: how exactly is this ??? I am not a small kid not to understand all these

M: jai, just come with me , I will explain it all now

Manyta pulled jai along with her, and explained how she ended up with uday

J: oh jiji I am so sorry. I really…

M: I know jai, anyone could get suspicious , but I am glad that you understood.

Adding the pesticide to the soup, and stirring it well, along with a lot of sause and cornflower to mask the taste of the pesticide, the soup was ready to go

Manyta was going through her laptop when a hot cup of soup was placed in front of her, she looked up and smiled

"you should not have done all this"

"ah!! This is the least thing I can do after the morning incident na"

"you should forget it, I already forgot about it"

" I knw, but still I am so sorry, drink your soup before it becomes cold"

"ok mom!!!!! Said an exasperated manyta

Manyta tasted the soup and wrinkled her forehead," it tastes a bit funny"

" ah!!! I am hurt!!! I spend my time making soup and still you say…"

"maybe it's the vegetables, I think" said manyta to pacify

Manyta drank the soup completely and it was then she noticed she had not even offered some

" iam sorry , I drank it fully, I mean, we could have shared

"no problem, it was meant only for you (winks)

As she was about to leave for her office, manyta felt her head was about to split, somedays ago she had a slight fever and headache too, and now this!!!

Uday who was coming from the kitchen saw her and rushed to her

" are you alright?" asked a concerned uday

Manyta was still clutching her forehead " I am fine." She said through gritted teeth

" manyta? I don't think so, you better rest today"

"no uday, I am ok"she was still clutching her head

"manyta, listen to me, you look, weak and feverish too, take rest today na, tomorrow you can leave, please?" uday pleaded

Manyta who was already feeling weak said

"ok"

YES!!!!!! Screamed uday in his mind

The whole day uday spend with manyta . she was very weak, her face was still pale, uday massaged her feet and she felt great relief too. Uday fed her in the afternoon, he was a perfect nurse to her, taking care of her every needs, they talked a lot

Manyta felt like she was falling again for uday and his charms, she was safe in his arms

OR SHE FELT SO!!!!
