Hey,

I have never really interacted on this forum...but Ive been thinking about this show and what all happens.

Do the things that happen in this show really happen in India today? I mean the marriage part and money. I was born and brought up in India and then moved to India as a teenager. I am happily married, which was arranged.

I mean...why cannot any marriage be lasting...i mean every marriage has problems, but is divorce the answer or leaving the person? I mean in this show..bani and jai are perfect...especially after they got over everything...but y does every marriage have to end? That was not our culture...but every Ekta show does this...whether Kusum..gets married 3times...or having an affair...I really dont get it. And Rano and Sahil...he is a nice guy..but none of the guys except for Pushkar and Mr. Walia...have a backbone of their own...i mean...Sahil...was nice until he became like his mother...and atleast Ranvir is changing....my ultimate question is that do indians today think divorce is nothing and if not...then why is every show like an american soap opera? Lol..i dont know if anyone is going to respond to this...but its nice ...letting this kind of stuff out of your brain..lol..

take care and always smile.

I don't think Indians today think Divorce is nothing, writers think Divorce think Divorce is nothing. Pushkar doesn't have much a backbone either, or atleast not half the time. He can be such a loser sometimes.

BTW, you wrote that you moved from India to India. you might one fix that.

No, I don't think all Indian marriages are like what they show on TV. Here in the US, the soaps are no different, people are constantly getting married and then just as quickly getting divorced. Its just something the TV industry does to get ratings, Indian marriages r nothig like what they show on TV as far as my knowledge is concerned.

ekta can't think of an end to somebody's life unless their marriage breaks up cuz of a divorce or she kills them with cancer!
