Nautanki Films ties up with Chennai Express

Nautanki Films announced the integration of their hit show Madhubala with the upcomingShahrukh Khan and Deepika Padukone starrer 'Chennai Express' directed by Rohit Shetty.
The company saw great success with the TV Serial 'Baba Aiso Var Dhundo' in 2012 which grew to be one of the country's most popular TV dramas. Shortly after, Madhubala - Ek Ishq Junoon, aired on Colors TV, was born which took Nautanki Films to greater heights. Recently, the production house completed 300 episodes of the hit soap.
Speaking on the occasion, Abhinav Shukla, Director and Co-founder Nautanki Films said, "We're very happy to have Shahrukh and Deepika be a part of our show, Madhubala is a show that has its roots in Bollywood and we're always trying to ensure that all the content seen on the show is relevant."
"It was a great honor to have both of these wonderful stars on our sets and we're sure it's going to be a great episode that will prove to be extremely entertaining for our viewers." added Director and Co-founder, Saurabh Tewari.
With 300 episodes under its belt, Madhubala saw Shahrukh and Deepika on their sets on Monday for the shoot of one of the episodes. With a film related script carefully woven into the larger perspective of the storyline, the episode will feature the two stars join in a celebration on the sets, the episode will air on Colors TV in the first week of August.
The production house has a strong foundation in the belief that cutting edge content that is both relevant and grounded in real life incidents will establish a strong connect with their audiences. The company strives to discover and nurture fresh talent in a bid to create India's next big heartthrobs and superstars. In August of this year, Nautanki Films will make its foray into film production.
