An ArVi One Shot story
Arjun: What do you mean Purvi? Have you lost your mind? Always baba, aai, Ovi someone. What about me? What about our daughter Pari?
Purvi: I know what I'm doing Arjun, I'm moving out of this city with Pari, because I can't marry you?
Arjun: Kyun? Why can't you marry me? What is wrong with you? Ovi wants us to get married, even Onir did all of this just so we would come together again.
Purvi: Arjun why don't you understand we-
Arjun: No Purvi you understand! I am not letting you take Pari anywhere without my consent. We may not be married but no one on this universe can reverse the fact that I'm Pari's father, not you, not Bhagwan.
"Purvi apni aap se jhoot bolna band karo. Look at yourself,listen to your heart then tell me what you want to do. Becuase I swear to god from the moment you got the idea of forcing me to marry Ovi in the first place you have lost control of yourself.
This time Purvi I'm not going to let you wreck 3 lives again. Meri teri aur Pari ki."
Purvi: Arjun please try to --
Arjun raised his hand motioning Purvi to stop.
Arjun: I don't want to hear it, this is not my Purvi, not the Purvi who loved me more that she could love herself, not the Purvi who I loved more than myself.
Arjun turned around to leave, as he was approaching his car Purvi also turned around to watch him go.
Purvi opened her eyes and all she could see at that moment was Arjun and a car coming his way.
"ARJUN!!"

" beep, beep, beep"
" Doctor, Doctor! Please what happened in there everything will be fine na" Said Manav
" Doctor please save her, if anything happens to Purvi I won't be able to live with myself" pleaded Arjun who was overwhelmed by emotion.
As tears began to blur his eyes once again, Arjun slumped into the chair across Purvi's room, all he could remember was the moments that lead up to this.
Their fight, his proclamation, and him walking away..
* Flashback*
Arjun walked away back to his car thinking about Purvi's mindset. What was wrong with her why is she acting this way.
Suddenly Arjun heard Purvi screaming his name he turned around to see a car coming straight at him, he then felt a push that sent him on the road rolling then his world went BLACK.
Arjun woke up to feel blood on his head as tried to recollect what had just happened. He opened his eyes and saw a car that was completly totalled.
As he started to get up he began to here people shouting in a circle asking for help. Arjun ran to see what had happen.
" Sahib Sahib madat karo is larki ko, gadi mai hospital leijao" said a passerby
" Kya??" Arjun pushed through the crowd to see what had happened to the girl.
"No oh No this is not happening" Arjun saw the lady, her whole sari was covered with rubble and blood. Arjun bent down to see the girls face.
Arjun was in total shock to see who was in front of him. Purvi. Arjun brought Purvi's head onto his lap and began to shake her.
" Purvi, Purvi? Look at me Purvi? Aakho kholo? Open your eyes Purvi, dekho Purvi Im sorry I shouldn't have yelled at you. Sorry Purvi mai boleda Sorry please Gussa chor Purvi Aakho Khol!
"Purvi dekho mazzak math kar mere saath, aur me there sath naraz hogayu"
Seeing Purvi not replying Arjun started to Panic.
"PURVI PURVI!!!" Arjun sat there and bawled his eyes out as he held Purvi, who was in his arms, to his heart. He cursed God for being so cruel to him and Purvi.
As the ambulance arrived Arjun carried Purvi into his arms and put her on the stretcher.
A million worries were crossing him mind how would he tell Manav Uncle and Aunty? What would happen to Pari? If anything happened to Purvi Arjun would not be able to live with himself.
* Flashback ends*
Arjun sat there with his head in his hands he could hear Archana aunty weeping and Manav uncle trying to reassure her that Purvi would be fine.
Pari was in Teju's arms, he couldn't even face his own daughter, he had hurt her mother.
" Arjun please, aise math karo, don't blame yourself, tumare koi galathi nahi hai" Soham said.
" Hai Soham, this all my fault, had I not been so careless then-"
" Arjun do you think if Purvi was in your position, you would have let the car hit her?" Sachin said
Arjun shook his head no.
" Same way Purvi did the same for you, she loves you Arjun, yeh pyaar nahi hai tho kya hai pyaar" Sachin said.
"Exactly Dada agar Gauri hothi tho mai asa he karta"
"Yahi tho problem hai Sachin, kyu samaj nahi hai ho thum. Ma kaise apne aap se maaf karu yeh sab kheliye. Why does Purvi love me.. Sab meri galthi hai. Why did I even come to india Puri would have been safe without me."
Arjun got up to see Purvi from the window. She was there on life support. He wanted to make her better so bad he could give his life for her but he could not bare to see her in this position.
It was killing him from the inside.
The opening of the door to Purvi's room grasped Arjun's attention.
" Doctor, Doctor? Purvi kaise hai? Tell me tell me" Arjun pleaded
" Doctor hamari Purvi theek hojayangi na?" Archana asked.
" At this moment I can't say anything, you can go in to see her now though"
Arjun without waiting for another word ran into the room but screeched at a halt after seeing Purvi.
Arjun stood there frozen upon seeing Purvi's condition. Laying there lifelessly on life support, fighting for her next breath.
Arjun slowly walked and sat in the chair next to the bed. He softly took her cold hand into his warm ones and kissed her fingers tears started to fall from his eyes and he just couldn't keep it in any longer. he rested his head next to Purvi's and began to cry..
"Purvi Please mujhe aur Pari ko chor kar math jao, I can't live without you, jee nai sakta there bina"
He caressed her hair as he struggled to control his emotions. His Purvi looked so weak and vulnerable and he couldn't do anything about it. He could fight the world for her but he could not do anything for Purvi right now. Arjun had never felt so helpless in his life.
" Purvi please, please Purvi, ek bar mujhe kehdo ke thum theek ho, akhe kholo. Dekho mai hu, Pari hai, Aai, Baba, Soham, Sachin, Teju, hame sab there bena nahi rehsakta.
"Mai tere bin adhoora hun, agar Purvi nahi hai tho Arjun be nahi hai. There's no Arjun without Purvi. "
Arjun rested his head in purvi's hand and continued to beg her to wake up.
Slowly the monitor started to make beeping noises, which snapped Arjun out of his misery.
" Doctor, Please doctor ane kya hogaya" Manav asked to the doctor.
" Purvi, Purvi? Look at me Purvi, thumne mujhe sikhaya tha pyaar iss duniya ke biggest thakat hai na? Prove it to me Purvi that the love we shared was strong, please Purvi. Mai apne aap se kabhi ne maaf ne kar pao."
" There bin mere saas adhoora hai, jeene ke vaja nahi, jaantha hoon mai thum mujhe kitna pyaar karte ho aur thum be janthi ho mai kitna thumse pyaar karta hu"
"Please Purvi" Arjun pleaded as he moved closer to Purvi's face to place a kiss on her forehead.
As Arjun moved his tear fell on Purvi's eyelid.
Purvi's eyes started to flutter.
Where was she all she remembered was Arjun and the car. Oh god she panicked Was Arjun okay? She had to ask.
As Purvi opened her mouth to speak nothing came out from her mouth but a few sounds that Alerted Arjun.
" Purvi, Purvi, thum kuch maat bolo mai hoon na ma sab theek karu"
Yeh Arjun ki avaaz arehehai? Purvi opened her eyes half way to see Arjun right in from of her eyes.
"Arjuun?"
"Haan Purvi" Arjun said as he lift Purvi's head onto his lap.
Arjun was relieved to see Purvi awake his mind started to relax. He started to say something bbut realized Purvi had fell asleep on his lap.
He looked down to admire his love. He had never seen how cute Purvi looked when she slept. Her little snores here and there and the way her nosotrils flared as she breathed. Arjun began to giggle but stopped himself as he saw Purvi turning.
"Oh God if Purvi saw me laughing at her puri baand bajage" Arjun thought.
Purvi unknowingly in her sleep had grasped her arms around Arjun's waist.
Arjun looked down to see Purvi.
Dekha Arjun isiliye hum dono ek perfect match hai. Everyday mai Purvi ke bare me dream kartahu but Purvi thare tho ek step agar hai.
" Arjuun..." Purvi said in her slumber
" Yes Purvi"
" I love you khadoosloskar" Purvi said unconciously as she snuggled back up and went to sleep.
Arjun was left frozen at Purvi's confession.
Its crazy he thought, that a couple hours ago you wanted to leave me and leave with Pari. And now while not in the state of mind you admit you love.
Kaise yeh pyaar hai... this time Purvi I promise you that I wont let you go no matter what you say.

A couple hours drifted by soon Arjun fell asleep also. The doctor had come and removed Purvi off of life support.
" Auww they are so cute" Teju exclaimed
" Ha Tej Arjun aur Purvi ek rab ne banaya jodi hai, we should have never let them split apart in the first place" Manav said as his mind pondered on his regrets of the past.
" Ha Manav, mujhe lakta hai we should quickly make Purvi understand that she loves Arjun and get them married." Archana replied
" Thum bilkul theek hu today Purvi proved how much she loves Arjun and that we can't live without him.. We have to make Purvi realize that our happiness is in her and Pari's happiness, and their happiness relies in Arjun"
" Your right Manav somewhere in all of this is my fault I should have never made Purvi feel indebt to me or overload her with my worries..."
" What happened happened ab hum amara galtio sudarna hai"

Purvi slowly began to open her eyes ( for real this time)
She found her hands intertwined with someone she looked up and saw Arjun sleeping right next to her leaning on the head board.
Oh God what happened why am I here? She looked at her arms and saw that they were bandaged as well as her leg.
She turned to look at Arjun and saw that he had a bandage on his head.
Purvi started to shriek with worries about Arjun's health which woke up Arjun.
" Purvi? Purvi what are you doing you need to rest please lie down" Arjun exclaimed with worry in his eyes.
" Your telling me Mr. Kirloskar? Look at yourself" Purvi snapped.
" Thum bilkul pagal ho Purvi, do you even know what happened today?" Arjun said as he battled with his tears. You will not cry in front of Purvi he kept on repeating to himself.
He was a fool to try to hide his feelings in front of her.. He dropped his head in shame as tears escaped his eyes..
" Arjun thum, Arjun are you crying" Purvi said as she cupped Arjun's face in her hands.
" Purvi do you remember anything that happened today?"
Purvi shaked her head indicating a No.
Arjun confessed what had happened to Purvi. " Purvi is something happened to you I would have died, I would have not been able to live with myself"
" Arjun but Im fine look at me, stop feeling guilty"
" Purvi aaj thune meri ek saval ke javab saroor dedo"
" ha" Purvi said with a hint of nervousness.
" Why did you do this Purvi? Kyu? Do you know how much pain you were putting through? Who cares about me I would have di-"
Purvi blood began boil as Arjun questioned her this.
" What are you trying to say Kirloskar? Haan? Do you know the pain I would have went thru if anything happened to you right in front of my eyes? I would have Died Arjun"
" Same way I would have --
"I love you Damn it Arjun. I can't live with you getting hurt because of me. I only cause destruction in your life Arjun, I made you suffer so much." Purvi said as she completely broke down.
" Shh Purvi it's okay, calm down Purvi, just relax" Arjun cooed as he tried to wipe her tears, but Purvi pushed Arjun away.
" How do I relax Arjun? I can't live with myself know all the pain you had to bear because of me I can't.."
" Purvi I love you, I could fight the world for you, I could do anything for you"
Purvi turned her face away from Arjun. Arjun took Purvi's hand in his.
" You know Purvi, by doing all of this you are hurting me more because I can't see you hurt"
" We love each other Purvi, we deserve to be together, Pari deserves to have both of her parents, and we both deserve to be present throughout her life" Arjun continued.
Purvi slowly turned to look at Arjun. " If you love me Arjun do one thing for me, never let me force you to go away from me, scold me, hit me, do whatever you want, but never listen to my emotional demands, Please Arjun" Purvi pleaded as her dove shaped eyes threatened to out pour rain drops.
" Promise" Arjun said with a smile as he wrapped Purvi in his hands and gave her a kiss on her forehead.
" Haan Beta" Manav said as he and the rest of the family entered.
Hearing this Arjun jumped apart from Purvi he felt so embarrassed.
" Um Uncle ah-"
" Arjun koi explanation nahi chaiye mujhe, Meri akho se dheka"
Arjun and Purvi looked at each other with fear of Manav's reactions.
" I saw how much love you guys have for each other, I want you guys to get married as soon as possible"
" main Archana aur DK sir yeh fesla decide kiya aur thum dono-" Manav said eyeing Arjun and Purvi.
"Can't do anything to change our decision"
As he said this everyone began to laugh.
Suddenly Pari start crying.
" Auww Parii aai baba ki saath jaana hai?" Teju said.
" Arjun pagal ho? You let Pari stay in the hospital, do you know how many germs are here-, your so irresponsible-"
Purvi, please hamari shaadi bhi nahi huie aur thum ek patni ki jaisa chillaraho, please let me enjoy my last few days of freedom"
"Freedom na, right Arjun? I'll show you freedom" Purvi said as she wacked Arjun with her pillow.
" Purvi look at you we are in a hospital and this is your behavior"
"SHUT UP ARJUN"
"Okay ji!"
Arjun was too happy to get mad today.
" Arjun you know, you look so cute when you get mad" Purvi said in a low voice
" I know" Arjun winked
" I love you"
" I love you more"

Purvi:" Arjun?"
"Yes Purvi can I please sleep?" he said as he snuggled up in his blanket.
"I'm hungry Arjun, feed me" Purvi demanded
" Whats wrong with you Purvi? aaj kal you eat you run to bathroom and throw up same cycle. Why should we waste the food"
" Arjun ki bachcha, god I wanted two children not three"
" Kya? Purvi we only one child Pari and you have two one Pari and one me" Arjun said with a naughty smile as he rested his head on Purvi's lap.
" Well then your being replaced Arjun" Purvi said with a sly smile on her face
" What? How can you replace me Purvi? Im your husband!!"
"Exactly, NOT my child"
" Purvi I don't understand what you are saying?"
" where did the three children thing come from, you just said I wasn't your child so that leaves two... One Pari and-"
" One right here" Purvi finished pointing to her stomach
" So your pregnant?"
" Yes my dear husband now can I have some food"
" Yes my love"
