HITEN ENTERS KASAUTI AS ABHISHEK NOT ANU

So says Mahesh Pandey, the script writer of Kasautii Zindagi Kay. "Cezanne is not quitting the show. Who told you that he is quitting the show? He loves the show very much so he is not at all quitting the show. We are just concentrating on Prem (Manoj Bohra) and Devki's (Tina Parekh) love story."

"We will be taking a leap within one or one and a half month and there will be a surprise in the show very soon. Hiten Tejwani will be coming in the show as Abhishek Bhattacharya and he will not replace Cezanne. The character of Abhishek is not the lead character as Hiten is already playing a lead role in two shows. In how many shows should he be playing the lead?"

It seems that co-stars of Cezzane are totally unaware of the fact that he will be continuing as Anurag Basu in the show.

Says Tina Parekh aka Mukti and Devki of Kasautii Zindagi Kay: "Yes I am definitely going to miss him on the sets as I have been working in the show for one and a half year, in fact the entire unit will miss him."

Jennifer Winset aka Sneha of Kasautii Zindagi Kay says, "Yeah I'll miss him as we have worked together for more than a year and we worked as family and we had a lot of fun on the sets."

And what does Cezanne have to say about his show?
When contacted, Cezanne's phone was on voice mail for a whole day. On the following day, we got him online for a couple of minutes. Our questions, his answers:

indya: There's a rumour that you are quitting the serial?
Cezanne: "I can't tell you anything about it"

indya: Are there some interesting projects that you are working on?
Cezanne: "Well, I will not reveal anything about it."

indya: If you are quitting, when is the last episode of the serial coming on air?
Cezanne: "I would not like to speak about it."

Well, all we can say that Ekta Kapoor's off-show drama often beats her in-show drama!
