After watching the last few episodes, I am certain that Bani still has faith and trust in Jai. Each time they met there is this intensity with which they look at each other. Her eyes are searching for the truth and his eyes are pleading her to give him one chance to explain. If you think about it, unless tarun, aditya or massi take bani away she does not leave by her own will. Because of her eternal love for jai she still is looking for a ray of hope that his eyes will show that they love her. And if you pay close attention to bani and jai scenes u will see that she still loves him and there is a lot of trust that reflects in her eyes.
That is why she breaks down when she hears Pia making those stupid and silly lies to make it look like Jai likes her- cause Bani is still holding on to the trust that Jai loves her and he is still hers. If bani was shown to completely become strong and independent, it would mean that she has accepted that jai betrayed her and does not love her. her reaction is one of a true love.
i know a lot of you think that what they are showing in KS is not close to reality. but you will be surprised to know that there was this couple who lived in my grandmas building in mumbai who I met occasionally whenever we went to visit them in india. The couple were happily married for 3 years- theirs was an arranged marriage but i had never seen any other couple so in love and crazy about each other. the girls sister used to stay with them because she went to college in mumbai and they had lost their mom a year after the marriage. ( i think the dad was already dead). well the thing is that the sister suddenly started liking her brother in law as her sister used to travel around the country because of her work and so it used to only be her and her brother in law. the sisters loved each other a lot. it was the younger sister who actualy got the proposal for her elder sister. well anyway, 2 years after staying with them the sister was madly in love with her brother in law. one day apparently after she came back from college she saw her sister and BIL fighting (but she did not realise that they were joking fighting) she got upset with her sister and decided that her BIL deserved better. after that day she made her sisters life a living hell and always caused fights (but managed to look innocent through out!)
So anyway one day when the sister was on her business trip out of the city, the sister instigated her BIL against her sister saying she saw her meeting her ex boyfriend and when the BIL told her to shut up with her nonsense she put sleeping tablets in his drink and told him she loved him and all. he slapped her but was not in his state of mind. neway the girl managed to get ihim into her room and slept next to him. the next day when the sister arrived she did not find her husband in her room and then she got the biggest shock of her life. she saw her younger sister and husband in the same bed.
i think i forgot to mention that the woman had problems conceiving thats why they had no kid. neway, the younger sister told her that they both love each other and that he needs a kid and she cant provide. basically, to cut the story short, the wife then left the house and went to her inlaws house..the husband realisng wht teh sister had done tried to explain but no one listened. the sister went ot the extent to pretend she was pregnant- but in the end all lies have their end. she was caught..she admitted..she felt guilty and ashamed...the couple got back together after 2 years of suffereing and all..the lil sister works for an orphanage and is still single..the older sister tries to meet her but the younger one cannto face her at all. the couple now adopted a child recently and are very happy. just goes to show that there are sisters like tht in teh world and that ppl dont know when they get caught up with their emotions and wht they do.
