The angles you open up...the stories you tell...the feelings you bring out ...all commendable and brilliant!

I did feel bad for La, I loved how graciously and magnanimously she leaves, herself respect intact...she had grown as a character in leaps and bounds...one of the few who seemed to have actually shown to evolve...she was the only one perceptive enough to realise what was going on, who ASR had feelings for, she was not blind like the rest of them...and smart enough to hint the same to Khushi...her words of wisdom about finding and holding on to love before she leaves and the strength to leave when she does...it was hard for her, sure, but she respected her self enough not to get tied down in a relationship this had no future. She proved to be a good friend to ASR, Khushi and the family...

I always wished she would come back, at least when they got remarried...it would have been perfect...given that she was the first to hint about their love... I did feel sad for her when ASR calls her Khushi, forgets their engagement date...agrees to marry her not because he loved her but because he was running away from the one he did love...

Wow...you are beyond brilliant with your expression...seriously ...nothing I can say or write will come close...in my appreciation!

Coming back to your story, I loved how your wrote her point of view...it's everything I felt...and agree with her thoughts..you wrote them with such skill...I felt her loneliness, her pain, her benevolence, her knowing she did the right thing but wondering , her holding no grudges...I loved how she has moved on, a new life, friends...but still like something was missing...

I loved how you drew a parallel with NK...his feelings that make him more than just the funny guy who could not speak in Hindi...and fooled around ...for the first time he has feelings ...real ones...I loved now he stood by Khushi when most had deserted her...he knew her the least but he did the most for her...I liked that once he realised that for Khushi it was Arnav all along he backs out gracefully and moves out rather than continue living there aimlessly like he does in the show...

And I love that fate and destiny had plans for these two...loved how they meet...and loved the way your wrote that part too...this has me excited...holding her by the waist, her beautiful almond shaped eyes mesmerising him his desire to recite some hindi poetry and finally happy to be where he was...forgetting everything else...

I normally don't read stories without Arshi, but yours are just incredible...you create the characters so perfectly that you make me want to read and then it's not Arshi but your brilliance...that has me hooked...

Right! I just finished reading The journey and The proposal. Both of them were lovely, esp the Journey. It would have so good to see them discussing Shyam openly (other than revealing him to Anjali) as in how Khushi knew Shyam, the paying guest part and everything else and you did just that. I really liked it <3 Great work!

Ah the Proposal. It was really cute. I might sound really weird and odd one at that but for me, the real marriage will always be the contract marriage. I know its sound pretty pathetic but that's how they were bound to each other, through their marriage, through their contract. I loved the second marriage too but the first one remains special in many ways.

Great job, Ridz :D I'll come back to read some more later this week probably :)

The Mended Heart

Love how Anjali became her own woman, working, moving on in life

and Ahad made his place, slowly but surely

them getting caught in the park was quite funny

but Khushi knew how to extract the correct information from him

them two so should have gotten together

awww poor Lavanya and NK..unlucky in their first love

and both fell for people who fell in love with each other

that is pretty cool.. i really felt bad for Lavanya.. specially the scene where Arnav refers her as Khushi not lavanya.. i mean she deserved far better.. she changed for him.. how dimwitted could he be? couldn't he have broken off earlier? i mean instead he goes ahead proposes marriage..

if i was in lavanya's place in real..i would have dis figured his face.. he didn't love her.. that lavanya knew but she had no clue that he would fall for someone else while being in relation with her.. that is kinda of cheating.. Arnav did bad to her intentionally just so that he could save his ass from falling in love...

As for NK.. well he was just unlucky... poor guy.. Khushi and NK would have made a perfect pair.. I mean khushi was devoid of all khushi for a long time and NK would have filled her life with happiness and nothing more.. no past, no anger and no trust issues...

would love to see how this part goes... a happy ending for both of them is what they deserve..

awesome update so sad for la but at least she realized the truth before she married him but she knows in her heart he never had any connection to her like what she wanted to built with him but mind you he did deserved a punch from her for using her to keep khushi away loved her pov beautifully done awesome update

Okay as promised...When I had started watching IPKKND...I hated La with a passion, to me she embodied a dim wit vamp...and in my mind I was thinking...jeez...what a character. But as the episodes went on and as her character evolved... I couldn't help but take notice...she was different. When K takes the blame for losing laxmi and the hesitant La waiting outside made me believe in her niceness. I really fell in love with her character...and it's funny it was her who recognized that there was something brewing between ASR and K.

Her's was the only character I was sad to see leave. When the whole kidnap thing started I thought they might bring La back...when that did not materialize...I thought maybe during the Sheetal track...and then perhaps the Mrs. India track which was so up La's alley but alas they had to kill a good character...

Sorry for digressing...going back to your story...you remained true to her character...describing her dreams, her insecurities...the things that attracted her to ASR...her yearning to find love...and her trying to resent K but couldn't because of all that she had learned from her.

On the other hand is NK...funny...a guy you want to hang around with when you want to have fun...all in all...your best friend but someone who would never be taken seriously enough...to fall in love with...through this fictional journey...I hope to see the closure I so badly wanted to see on IPKKND...hey but with writers as wonderful as you...who really misses IPKKND...hehehe😉

So we leap to IPK 2 with the unfinished story of How La and NK finds their happiness too. They were both really nice characters, full of charm and definitely no nasty bones in their body. I felt bad for La but sorry I think either she was too gullible or really was blind to what was going on right in front of her eyes. The man was burning up for Chamkili and vice versa. Enough about that. Glad she re-focused and grew as a person and professionally. Felt sad about the intro when you talked about the absent parents and the need to be loved. She deserves someone who will cherish her above all and treats her like the queen she is. Which brings us to NK, the guy who gave without asking for anything in return, the best friend a girl could want. (Seriously he would be an incredible bestie). Did he catch her? Was there rabba vey playing in the background? Looks like dj vue. Let's see what happens next - dhak dhak, dhak dhak, acidity?
