The fact that kumud is still staying in pramad's house event after he has a love affair with maid and he has told her many times to leave or tell her parents shows that she is very weak minded by nature. She can misbehave and act strong with her family and saras because they love her not with pramad or outsiders who give a damn for her.
Why did she not question her in laws for cheating her and her family by not telling truth about pramad? Is this how strong educated woman behave?
Strong woman itself is myth because i have seen educated women earning in lakhs being abused by husbands. I do not think education and modern is criteria for being strong and fighting for rights. For that you require self confidence and self esteem and self respect and very very strong will which i think kumud has always lacked.
Saras rejected her once still she wanted him badly and challenged him to come to india to reject her. Any self respecting person will never do that. Saras rejected her second time and immediately she lost all confidence in herself and agreed to marry some unknown person. Is that sign of a strong human being? Now saras came back and she is scared she will fall for him? Where is self respect here? Kumud is only crying and taking nonsense from hubby, lover, family, inlaws. Also she knew Yash did gau hatya but kept quiet for long time for saras to face music. So i do not think this character is strong at all.
I think Saras is more strong character because he fought for his mom and demanded answers from his father and also did what he wanted like puja ect despite his dad opposition. The most strong chacater is pramad because despite all his bad virtues he has sent a strong message to his father that he will not accept his father's choice of wife and did not budge from that till date. LNV is a strong character too because he gets what he wants he does not care who gets hurt at what cost etc. All others compromise their values, beliefs, happiness to please others and are neither happy themselves nor keep others happy.
Hopefully in long term Kumud will get confidence to take on hubby, in laws for cheating her and not only avoiding saras for rejecting her at last minute
