1. She did not forgive Mukund for the fact that he buckled under pressure from his mother and broke off his engagement (even though he regretted his decision almost immediately). In every other respect Mukund was a good man, caring, loyal and loving. And yet she forgave RK for much, much, much worse. Maybe this had something to do with the fact that Mukund was average middle class and RK had loads of money.
-- She didnt forgive RK in one go. took some time...And she didnt have a chance to take her sweet time to forgive Mukund as she had to marry RK to save her Dad. And RK even during revenge was supporting her, unlike a spineless Mukund.
2. She agreed to marry the man responsible for her father's near death condition (surely she wasn't an idiot to believe that Shamsher randomly sustained those severe injuries?). Once married, she quickly forgot that she was supposed to feel disgust for what RK did to Shamsher and plunged into playing house.
-- From what I see she fell in love with a man, who saved her father not once but twice.. I think u missed the episodes where pads came to thank RK for Malik's speedy recovery...
3. She was willing to leave her entire family for him. He dumped her, she never rejected him.
-- she was planning to reject the man who dumped him, but why should she reject a man who went on his knees not once but twice that too publicly. And he was showing all signs of change.
And u said she was planning to leave all the riches for him, so how is she a gold digger.. Can we please stick to one stance??😕
4. She called Sultan a ghatiya insaan and yet Mrs. madhubhala conveniently forgets that it was she who insistently and forcefully inserted herself into the life of this ghatiya insaan and tried to pull this ghatiya insaan into her effed up relationship drama.
She was the one who called him to that RK party, and when her jerk husband humiliated Sultan she just stood there and watched and asked him not to react. Yep, totally Madhu, Sultan is the ghatiya insaan here and you are the angel.
-- she was wrong to barge into his life, but the so called 'Dad of the century' didnt leave a plan for his son, and "Mumbai ka Sultan" didnt have anyone who his kaka could rely on.. From what I remember, kaka barged into her house.. She followed them out of humanity.. And helped a gangster by going against law,, but look how the epitome of chivalry paid her back..🤢
And then epitome of chivalry went with his gun to scare RK and stopped his way.. At that time pads didnt ask Her help and SIL of the house had asked him to stay away.. so why was he not respecting his Alvida?? Not only this he said that he will interfere in her life no matter what she says.. Looks like you also decided to skip Sultan scenes.. Can't blame you.
She went to apologize to him after the party fiasco realizing she was wrong.. But this didnt stop Sultan from interfering in her life..
5. In the whole drama about Sultan and RK being brothers, she very cynically tried to manipulate Sultan's feelings for her to prevent him from going public with his claims. Someone should ask her if the ghatiya insaan wasn't making this about you - why were you making this all about yourself (i'll tell you why - attention starved drama queen).
-- she never stopped him from going public, she wanted him to collect a solid proof.. Not once she asked him for a payback for lodging him at the chawl or saving his life...and once she realized what's right, she went with RJ to get them to mansion. Thankfully RJ went back on her word.. We have to remember that she didnt witness the sordid mother son reunion.. It's kinda tough to catch up with the sudden changes in Bhai's life.. Overnite he found his lost dad, his real birth mom, and his step family.. The story is far from believable..
Madhu may be the least likeable female lead of any Indian tv show! She is ablsolutely a spineless lovesick woman!
Mind you i am not supporting sultan for his deeds now, he is wrong i know that,and if his intensions are this evil. he will surely suffer for this, but every character in this show has some major flaws including the great padmini who chooses to be mum that she was the one who sent sultan on the marriage day except!
Moreover, Sultan is the one who is going around making it all about her, to the extent of faking his death...🤢
She is definitely not spineless.. She is not too worldly wise, but she made a man like RK eat his words, made him apologize to her.. She had the courage to go against a superstar.. She was defending a gangster friend in front of her MIL n husband till he decided to play dirty and his ploys shattered her husband.
loving ones husband doesn't make one a lovesick woman.
And Padmini is the hated one in the show with no redemption in the horizon..
