TOI/SP: Will Sandhya cross hurdle, be victorious?

Diya Aur Baati Hum a compelling drama of Sandhya's (Deepika Singh) struggle to become an IPS officer has reached an interesting turning point where she was posed with 3 challenges laid by her mother in law - Bhabho (Neelu Vaghela).

Having passed these successfully would have opened the doors for Sandhya to pursue her IPS dream.

And as they say with challenges come obstacles, Sandhya is now at a juncture where one mistake can take away her lifelong dream or separate her from her family. In a situation where she has already lost two chances to prove her worth to Bhabho, Sandhya has now a local championship - 'Sabse Bada Champion' to win as her last bait that will help her get Bhabho's consent into chasing her dream.

With husband Sooraj (Anas Rashid) standing tall and in support, Sandhya decides to participate in the competition which is set in five stages testing contestant's abilities at various tasks and presence of mind. The new entrant Abhimanyu Singh (Eijaz khan) as the cheeky hostof the contest has also added to the drama that is unfolding.

With sister in law Emily (Pooja Singh) also battling it out in the same championship... will Sandhya be able to succeed and cross the final hurdle? Will she fulfil her promise to her parents or will succumb to Bhabho's wishes?
