how did karan & nandini broke up?

I know nandini was married to Ansh and later Tulsi killed him. After that I am lost. How did Karan and Nandini break up? And does Bhoomi think she is daughter of Nandini and Karan?Please let me know.. I am so confused.

ok look...nandni wen to coma n then karan married tanya...due to sum reason the family didnt tell nadni bout this..then ansh's someone tried to kidnap bhoomi..n so nandni killed him...she went to jail n found out bout karan-tanya then she told karan not to tell bhoomi bout ansh n stuff like that...then wen she came out of jail she was married to aseem

all true except the end, nandani came out of jail when bhoomi was still little, and told karan stay with tanya and then nandani left. then 20 years later nandani comes back into the pictures married to aseem, i think aseem and nandani have been married for last 6 years.
