Simple fact of the matter is, she is correct in feeling hurt and devastated and we feel for Saras too because he didn't do it to hurt her, in his own mind he was preventing her from being with him at the moment since he's not in the right frame of mind to be married, he has too much of his own baggage to figure out.
So instead of seeing it as oh what happened was wrong, look at in the light that it took more courage to break it off than to get married when he didn't know what his own future held, much less the turmoil of his family. Would you have brought Kumud into the family knowing how Gumaan was and his father turned out to be? What hell would she go through when Saras wasn't around?
I don't think he did it the right way (obviously this is a drama and we need storylines) but the simple fact is, he broke up with her but who forced her to jump into marriage 2 days later? What does that say about Kumud's state of mind? That she was so distraught that she couldn't think so she made a bad decision? Isn't that exactly what we are criticizing Saras for, making a bad decision in the heat of the moment without thinking? No one forced her into making this decision so there's no one person to blame for this predicament, its both of them.
In terms of the fact that she's married now and it's impossible to break up or separate or divorce, come on, this isn't the old days anymore, divorces are happening more and more and yes traditional people like Kumud and her family will have a hard time making that decision. Bu at the end of the day, Vidyachatur's character has his daughters back in all things and doesn't care what anyone else much less the "community" has to say.
The interesting part will be to see how even though they know they're soulmates and love each other, both of them have to go on their own journeys and figure it out so they can get back together in a healthy way, everything in the open. It can't happen too fast or else it loses its intensity but neither can it drag on too long or else the audience gets impatient. This is the true test of SC fans is to not jump ship but to stick with it, have faith and support the series because it will eventually pay off.
