On one side she admits the glow on her face is due to Saras and on the other she sarcastically thanks him for doing all that he did. Yes it was but obvious what she was really thanking him for. These two sides to Kumud are making her more and more restless. Yes she cares endlessly for him, yes she can't see him in pain and no she can't bare anyone insult him but nor can she forget the insult, the shattered faith in love and life. What can Saras do to make her live again? Will apologising be enough? She is still in this forced wedlock which at this juncture would be impossible to get out of. Even if she wanted to, could she fully trust Saras again?

This time round, Kumud's taunts and angst can be very much emphasised with. Who else can she lash out at except Saras?

Pramad and Kalika...makings of brilliant villains I feel. Awesome actors who make their characters far more believable than Monica ever did with Gumaan.

just give saras some pain and let kummu see...and she will forgive him for murdering herself in her spree to ease his pain...that how kumud loves saras

saras never betrayed her its just that he felt he was better alone than to have kumud too in his gloomy life...but look what he did??

They both r thinking ways to ease each others pain .he want her to be at peace and she wants to take away his pain...

...i just love being in love with this love story...saras kumud love to each other is so pure and caring ...still what a twisted luck they have...they gave each other the pain as great as love they shared .!!!

Good post Reemz... Her position is tenuous. Her actions, paradoxical. She wants to operate within limits and yet exerts claims oblivious to all the hadd's she herself delineates.

Simple fact of the matter is, she is correct in feeling hurt and devastated and we feel for Saras too because he didn't do it to hurt her, in his own mind he was preventing her from being with him at the moment since he's not in the right frame of mind to be married, he has too much of his own baggage to figure out.
So instead of seeing it as oh what happened was wrong, look at in the light that it took more courage to break it off than to get married when he didn't know what his own future held, much less the turmoil of his family. Would you have brought Kumud into the family knowing how Gumaan was and his father turned out to be? What hell would she go through when Saras wasn't around?
I don't think he did it the right way (obviously this is a drama and we need storylines) but the simple fact is, he broke up with her but who forced her to jump into marriage 2 days later? What does that say about Kumud's state of mind? That she was so distraught that she couldn't think so she made a bad decision? Isn't that exactly what we are criticizing Saras for, making a bad decision in the heat of the moment without thinking? No one forced her into making this decision so there's no one person to blame for this predicament, its both of them.
In terms of the fact that she's married now and it's impossible to break up or separate or divorce, come on, this isn't the old days anymore, divorces are happening more and more and yes traditional people like Kumud and her family will have a hard time making that decision. Bu at the end of the day, Vidyachatur's character has his daughters back in all things and doesn't care what anyone else much less the "community" has to say.
The interesting part will be to see how even though they know they're soulmates and love each other, both of them have to go on their own journeys and figure it out so they can get back together in a healthy way, everything in the open. It can't happen too fast or else it loses its intensity but neither can it drag on too long or else the audience gets impatient. This is the true test of SC fans is to not jump ship but to stick with it, have faith and support the series because it will eventually pay off.

In novel Saras leaves his house and is a vagabond without work and Kumud a Prime Ministers daughter hence he says he cannot marry her. Because Kumud is used to a certain lifestyle and she will not be happy marrying a homeless man.
Here too Saras thought the same that Kumud is brought up lovingly by her parents and he is homeless, jobless and broken soul. so saras in that emotional state took a decision which he regretted in a few hours but it was too late

So true! its almost like because she loves him so much, she also has every right to be angry with him. His mistake isn't that easily going to be forgiven just like Kumud's mum still feels she cant forgive him for his mistake as its cost them their daughter's life.
seems like his punishment already is that she is married to someone else now. what more can he do now...
and she cant show that she still cares for him...I guess we can understand where she comes from...all she knows is that he has rejected her and now he is here so why should she be nice to him...she should hate him but deep down she cant even do that.
it will be interesting to see how she reacts when she finds out that he came from Dubai to marry her...I think she may feel a little bit guilty then for rushing into things but for now, her behaviour towards Saras is justified.
Awesome acting by Jenny! Apt expressions by Gautam! he really amazes me because with every episode, he just gets better and better!
Pramaad is def a grey shade character I think. He is like this cos he feels he can't ever live up to his dad's expectations so there is room for him changing but I do not want that at all! that would be the worst thing the CVs can do. Him turning good will mean no hope for Kumud and Saras 🤢
I do not like Kalika at all! she gives me the creeps! as an actor therefore good acting there but I dunno, i just dont like her at all..even shakal se! oops!

She is definitely in a conflict. On one hand she was happy for a split second that Saras came back, and on the other she was angry at his unfaithfulness! As you pointed out, she admits the glow is due to Saras and then thank him for the misery he put her through!

I could literally feel the sarcams oozing out when she thanked him. The pain in her voice was so evident!
Kumud is angry and devestated at what Saras did but she still cannot bear anyone insult him, I love Kumud's strong charecter. I feel she has the right balance of modern and traditional, she is being strong before others but cries her heart out when she is alone.
