Ranbir Kapoor is the new king of Bollywood

Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan and Aamir Khan are known as Rs. 100 crore stars in Bollywood. Their presence in a film is guarantee of a blockbuster. But enter Ranbir Kapoor and within a few years of his acting career, he has become a threat to these superstars.

Ranbir's latest film raked in Rs. 62.11 crore in the opening weekend, beating the record of Salman Khan's Dabangg 2 and Shah Rukh Khan's Jab Tak Hai Jaan.

Jab Tak Hai Jaan grossed Rs. 49.22 crore in the opening weekend, while Dabangg 2 rakes in Rs. 50 crore. Now, after beating Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan, it seems like Ranbir Kapoor is the new king of box-office. The film is still doing well at the box office and is soon expected to cross Rs. 200 crore. This will make Ranbir Kapoor the only actor after Salman, Aamir and SRK to cross Rs. 200 crore mark. Moreover, Ranbir also bagged best actor award at most of the awards function for Barfi this year.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan's recent films didn't perform well at the box office and film pundits are not expecting much from his upcoming film Chennai Express. Other super Khan, Salman is also in trouble due to his court cases. People are only crazy about Aamir Khan's upcoming film Dhoom 3.

Ranbir's popularity can also be judged from the fact that Bollywood's most popular diva Katrina Kaif, who once dated Salman Khan, is rumored to be dating the 'Rockstar'.

but srk and sallu never crossed 200 crore mark- its only aamir who has done that so far

why do these articles make such full or error statements- they keep changing the numbers to suit their convenience

srk for sure is going no where with movies- he should focus on production as he is a good business man and make movies with new stars etc! he needs to break from being on the camera! CE is releasing in like some days and no hype whatsoever- his charm is long lost!

SRK is on his way out! self explanatory

aamir lost majorly with talaash and peekay will under perform like talaash as well-

salman will slow down- mental might under perform and he will focus more on tv shows etc!

so yeah biru has a good chance!
