23/07/13...Mohan Bhatnagar-The Man!

What an episode it was!! I personally loved it. Yes killing MB is a messed up idea etc etc but what can the PH really do? They are answerable to the channel and hence they have taken these steps. As we all know, Rangeela has always been NBT's sautela..Today, I kind of wished that Rangeela channel fell of the cliff instead of our MB due to their sautela behaviour towards NBT..but I am glad that atleast Rangeela is giving another chance to NBT and even promoting it. Some fans said that they could have ended the show gracefully but which Production House would want their beloved shows to end? Hence the production house has very smartly played their last card to grab eyeballs and I think it has actually worked. The channel clearly wants TRPs right now to grant NBT another season. I am all game for season 3. Since Mohan died this season already and since Vasu is just a look alike, we have all the more chances of getting a fresh new story in season 3 with Kunaksha. Plus Kunal gets to do something new and different. If you watch the on location vids, you'll observe how enthusiastic Kunal was to do those stunts and he actually looked really excited so maybe the story is actually headed the right way. Kunal is going to make us fall in love Vasu too. Anyway, I really hope this revamp works in favour of NBT.. I am really glad that we got so many articles and videos today.

Anyway, coming to the episode...What a phenomenal performance by Kunal. This episode was pretty much a tribute to Mohan Bhatnagar as it showed all the reasons why we fell in love with Mohan for 1.5 years.
The way Mohan walked away from his family, the way he came back one last time, that moment of happiness on his face when addu caught his hand and those brilliant expressions on Kunal's face when he was remembering all the moments with his family..the way he looked at megha before leaving addu's hand and of course when Mohan finally let go of addu's hand..THE FALL...that silence...those nazms...the MOHAN BHATNAGAR! What a man!!
I am sure every NBTian cried today! Mohan is so close to our hearts that we can't imagine NBT without Mohan Bhatnagar. Mohan has gone through so much!
From Jan 9th 2012 when Mohan was stopped by Megha at the temple, the way he made megha fall for him, the return of his ex love aka Rashmi..the lie about MM being together..then came Manav as a hindrance to MM's love story..and then Mohan's biggest nightmare aka raddi..then the trouble he faced before marrying Megha..Megha's neck down paralysis...12 years of trauma and being alone, and then he comes back to only find Nanhi and Megha's anger towards him for losing addu, his guilt when he found out that addu died...eventually finding out that addu is an asylum and then finally solving the case of Addu=Munna...and yet, Addu's hatred towards him continued...Beera betraying mohan's beloved nanhi...oh god, Mohan Bhatnagar has gone through too much and I think he will be happier without all this tension...
Mohan Bhatnagar was a funny, clumsy, happy-go-lucky, bindass, intense guy who turned into a mature, cynical, emotional bechaara...I will truly miss Mohan Bhatnagar and I want to thank Kunal for doing complete justice to his character always..Mohan's memories will always be cherished..and maybe we will get to see a different and a new character named mohan in season 3..you never know..I also can't wait to see Vasu's dhaasu entry. And I can't wait to watch Megha trying to figure out the curious case of Mohan Bhatnagar/Vasu..

Mohan Bhatnagar was not just another character...he was a character everyone could relate to..he wasn't perfect and he never claimed to be perfect either! but he still was the Mohan Bhatnagar we all fell in love with! Thank you for so many memories! As they say..People may fade but the memories won't! You will always be in our hearts Mohan!!

Goodbye Mohan Bhatnagar, Thanks for being so funny, loyal, kind and charming. You will be missed by everyone. Rest in Peace :(...or is it really a goodbye? I'd like to think otherwise...

btw ...vasu is surely mohan no doubt about dat...dey created d same confusion during manish gandhi's entry also by making him d real addu...some believed it also...but i always knew dat kanwar was only d real addu...yeh log hume abhi bhi itna bewakoof samajhte hai...

awww..archu i still have not watched todays episode..(pehli baar miss kiya)...but reading u...i can understand..monday ko hi pata chal gaya tha...on monday the way the epi started with mohan giving all his responsibilities to megha..made me cry..each and every scene..actually throughout the episode..he was staring at her..aaahhh..i was shocked and proud of being kunal's fan...jaise usse hamesha ke liye apne aankhon mein basa raha hon...bcoz he knew this was probably the last time..he was there with his beloved!!!!awww...kunal ..i just i have one word to describe u as an actor..IMPOSSIBLE...!!

Mohan was very close to all of us because he was much more than just a character.. He will be missed badly and the lovely memories will be cherished everyday..
And mohan can not die.. That's not possible.. I am sure he will come back to all if us and Megha.. In some or other way.. Because NBT and NBT ians are incomplete without mohan..

@Archu - Beautiful post. You have so wonderfully captured and articulated the essence of Mohan Bhatnagar. Agree with each and every word of yours. Mohan Bhatnagar is truly a character that will be remembered by his fans forever because of the way Kunal played it - breathing life into it and giving it a heart and soul.

Your posts are always awesome..!! So this isnt an exception as well..! You have said it all.. Mohan was rather is the most amazing personality on tv..!
But, for the first time, i disagree with u.. I, personally, didnt like the epi.. Ofcus, bcoz of this revamp..! And it was all paced so fast.. Comeon, our hero deserved a better farewel..! Perhaps, it was the last time we saw Mohan..! The man whom we admired for these 1.5 years.. He was our hero.. And if he died today, then it was very foolish of the cvs to end it this way..!
I remember, it was during kunal's and aakansha's RM interview, the forum was vei much negative at that time as well.. But i was still standing tall... This ssn was no way comparable to ssn1, but it was still the BEST..!
And reg trps, i dnt thnk this will work..
And if it works, then dont get surprised if someday Amar is back, all hail and hearty..! Or perhaps Riddhima..!
