And we are at that time of the year again...when NBT has to lose whatever little marbles it possesses and come up with the WORST possible "twist" they can think of...
Firstly to clarify...I've not been a fan of this season to begin with...the entire 12 year leap was a stupid idea to begin with and as the ratings show, it's NOT paid off...even with this so called great leap, NBT is again at the same point it was last season...some of the actors in the new cast were good...like Jayshree (although I'm sorry she was never Nanhi to me)...but frankly that VIBE never fully got there...nothing like season 1 and even viewed independently it just wasn't that great...this season was a disaster in the making when a youthful Mohan Bhatnagar was aged 12 years and shown as in BABUL DOING BIDAAI mode and god knows what else...ludicrous is also too small a word for all the MELODRAMA that was thrown at the audience this season.
There were some sparks of greatness...like Manish Gandhi...but sadly those were very brief.
Now finally coming to the point of this rant...what the hell is up with this LOOK-ALIKE nonsense? Oh and before that...KILLING off Mohan? Ofcouse FIGURATIVELY this character has been killed MANY times in this show and most notably in season one when he was married off to Raddi and shown as a BIGAMIST but now they're trying to reach new "heights" by showing Mohan as some kind of pathetic TYAAG ki MURTI and WILLINGLY falling to his death?
What NONSENSE! After this pathetic 12 year leap nonsense where he KNOWS that Megha has anyways pined for her husband for 12 years...and incase he's forgotten, she's ALREADY gone through WIDOWHOOD once before...he's going to make her a widow AGAIN?! What the hell are they trying to show for this poor woman? That she has to CONSTANTLY live as a WIDOW in life? How many freakin times?!
After all the mahaan loweee they try to sell b/w MM, they will show that Mohan WILLINGLY dies leaving Megha alone with the kids AGAIN? We are expected to buy that Mohan is OK with Mr. Addu being the new "man of the house" taking care of the hysterical females? What kind of "lowee" is this? Do they constantly forget all the tragedy they've already shown in Megha's life? First Amar, then Mohan, now Mohan ka HUMSHAKAL? Is she a JOKE to them?
So I'm reading about this TAPORI version look-alike too...and all I can see here is that Kunal seems to have been wanting to revisit his Pratigya character again...Mohan Bhatnagar also had tapori traits...but he wasn't a straight up CRIMINAL...just cuz we loved Mohan's tapori-ism in season 1, they are pushing the reset button like THIS?
I know that Colors has a LONG STANDING obsession with TAPORI characters😆...when they can't think of anything else, they introduce a "basti ka tapori" character...they did it in the LTL "revamp" too post Mishal Raheja's exit with that stupid Diggu whatever guy...and that obviously was a disaster leading to the show ending in another 4-5 months...it's not like they have SUCCESSFUL examples to tout, STILL Colors continues with this crap🥱
I was happy about the news of a revamp at first...but as ALWAYS, NBT and this channel have FAILED to understand what REALLY worked for this show...I really do wonder if NUANCE is SO hard for these ppl to grasp considering that they were the ones that made the beginning months of NBT1...where is all that gone? Any time they even GET the opportunity to dig themselves out this ditch, they just continue to dig it IN further ever expanding it into a CRATER.
