Most irritating character of the Week
By: Zahara
The most irritating character this week has to be Maham Anga! Though she is Akbar's mother-like figure, she is manipulating him to get what she wants! Also her background sound "Maham Anga" is really irritating!

AkDha Scene of the Week

By: Bamonforever
This week finally quenched our thirst for Akdha scenes though partially ( as they didn't see each other or, didn't come face to face ) * sigh* * We can't get it all, not yet*. Any ways, we got three scenes that gave us the feel of Akdha,
1. 1. The portrait scene ( and it's subsequent burning by jalal)
2. 2. Akdha's take on love , which contrasted with each other in a unique way, shown in a tennis match sort of way.
3. 3. "Round-The-twist" or, rather round the tree in the forest, which gets the trophy of Akdha scene of the week.
It was curious stroke of fate that both Jalal and Jodha happened to be in the forest at the same time as well as the same forest. Well, not surprizing , because Akdha are after all star crossed lovers , destiny has decided that their paths will cross frequently till their paths become one, that's the beauty of their story. Their's is not a story, not a mere love story, but a master piece in destiny's own creation gallery.
Strange are the circumstances that pulled both of them in the forest. While for Akbar, it was Ruqaiya who dragged Akbar out to chill out by hunting to bring him out of a depression, whereas for Jodha , it was a cute little bunny who played the mediator of fate. As Jodha chased after the bunny to the depth of the jungle, she found a woman ( it was none other than Ruqaiya! ) targetting a deer at the point of her bow , and instantly her kind heart ( an animal lover with passion ) set her quick and sharp mind working as she gathered some logs n sticks n set fire to it with lots of smoke, which caused the deer to run away.
Point to be noted and mused over , is, that Akbar sensed the presence of a subtle change in the atmosphere, as if the very essence of the air has been transformed , as he pointed out "The wind has changed it's course. It is coming from a different direction. The air has been admixed with some thing."
May be he felt rather than sensed this presence , this change around him, that is- the presence of Jodha, some how these two person's are connected , not only their lives, not only their fates , but their soul, their heart strings, a connection that comes from entwining of souls only, a connection above n beyond love , as these two were chosen by destiny for each other long long before they'd choose each other..
Akbar went alone in search of this mysterious invader in their hunting game. Jodha, on hearing foot steps, hid herself behind a pillar-of-a-tree, which effectively covered her from Jalal's view ( good for her n bad n sad for us poor Akdha crazies!! ). As Akbar neared the tree n started looking around the corners, Jodha cornered herself further away. They started circling the tree, Akbar to find the intruder of their hunt, n Jodha , to find a cover up, after a few rounds , Jodha must've realised that one more round , n she may as well consider herself married to the person chasing her around!! Well, actually she realised that escape might be the smartest move to take under current situation n she started running away from the tree. Her payel , which was silent till now, as she was stealthily rounding the tree, became vocal due to her running, n made her presence heard. Akbar , caught the melodious sound of her payel, turned around ,saw her retreating back n understood that this lady was the person he came to search, and an amused appreciative smile adorned his pretty curved lips, but his dignity as a king prevented him from going after a woman ( Good for Jodha, bad for us !! )
A few things I found note worthy in that scene-
1. 1. Both Jodha and Jalal were wearing blue, of a similar tint , n it made the scene, if possible, even more beautiful. Another stroke of chance ? Coincidence ?? Creatives got a bonus point there.
2. 2. Some times fate comes to reside on our lips , n make us spell out prophesies unceremoniously n unknowlingly. Between Akdha , we can find many such moments where they say some thing in a particular context but it comes out resonant with a completely different connotation because of their special kismat connection. So when Akbar was voicing his sense of change in the air , he might be simply observing the presence of smoke in the air n it's direction ( no romantic appeal for diehard hopeless romantics like us !!) or may be, it was his inner being , that felt a sort of "pull" that it has always felt when Jodha is around. May be he was just prophesying the change that'll take place in his own life when Jodha'll enter it.
3. 3. The chakkars around the tree itself was very significant , when happening between a man n woman, that too in presence of fire ( fire is considered the holy witness of the saath phere ritual after all ).
4. Also the fact, that it signified, that for a long time , two lonely hearts , of Akdha, will wander around the corner of life , but the two hearts won't find what they yearn for- each other , the ultimate union of them will remain unattained for a long time, because destiny will play with his brushes n palette for a long time before completeing his master piece. Akdha will've a long way to go before they can reach each other' Well, great love stories take greater amount of time to make after all'We won't mind some waiting..

Best scene of the Week
By: Disha
Best scene of the week would definitely be the scene between Jalal and Bairam Khan,as Bairam bids goodbye to Jalal.Bairam leaves for Haj.
Beautifully executed scene.'Raw emotion' i call this. đ
Rajat truly was at his emotional best in this scene. When those tears sprung out of Jalal's eyes,i bet everyone felt for him.Felt for Bairam even, because it seemed as though the man had changed,he seriously regretted it.
As Bairam walks away from the courtiers after his saying his goodbyes,Jalal hugs him midway. As a desperate plea from a son to his father (figure) ,he says to him "mat jao",with tears in his eyes and his voice choking.Bairam comforts him and rubs his tears. But tears flow anyway.
Jalal then hands over his shamsheer to his khan baaba and tells him, that he had given it to him.for his protection.SO he would give it back to him,so that the shamsheer(sword) could protect his khan baaba in his journey.
Bairam politely refuses it and tells him that the shamsheer shall protect its shahenshah.
Very emotional scene.Beautifully shown.
kudos to the technical team and the actors.

Costume of the Week
By: Bamonforever
The costume of the week goes to this beautiful piece that got the honor to be worn by the most beautiful lady , Mallika-e-husne Jodha. âď¸
Despite being a princess, Jodha's dresses are often too simple. đł But this time we got to see her in an attire that if not befitted her position atleast didn't belie it. đ May be it's so because she was on a visit to Bhanpur, which was to be her future home after marriage ( fate had other plans though !), so naturally her look was more gorgeous than usual. đ
The dress was sensuous , with out compromising her dignity n honor even a little bit , the slight see-through nature of her choli bringing out the ivory tint of her creamy makhmali skin with out spoiling the innocence of her look , n her beige colored odni or head wear perfectly contrasting with the vibrant red of her dress , enhancing the rosy tint of her cheeks n the playful yet innocent sparkle of her eyes. â¤ď¸
Perfect we say!
Just one complain ! đł
How we wish our gorgeour prince charming Jalal had seen our mallika-e-husne in this look! Email him this picture of her , some one ??! đ

Blooper of the Week
By: ..nams..
well i am sure most of you might have noticed the sweet Ringa Ringa Rozy [ as framed by one of the member ] of AkDha.. cute tha na ?đł but didnt u see how funny it was too ?! đ
well first of all Jodha had wore sucha long chunri as in it was freely flowing on the ground for 1 meter atleast đ and it would have been enough to circle up the whole tree. The funny thing was AkDha circling around the tree, and Jalal not noticing her long swaying chunri behind her. well let us just say he might not have given it a thought.. đł
Even then using a common sense let us just think how come Jalal didnt hear her Payal Sounds while they were circling, But all of a sudden out of no-where he turned around to hear the sounds of her anklets only when she was running away, that too she was so far enough not to hear her anklet sound đ˛đ Jalal bhi Kamal karta hai đ ya fir humara CVs ? đ¤Ł
Oh yess one more blooper which seems to be quite common these days. We all saw Jodha and her brothers performing bhai dooj in the river and as result everyone were wet.. once they came back to the bank of the river, Jodha and Sujamal seemed completely dry without even a sprinkle of water on their body đł. But But Jodha's other brothers seemed like they did have a bath, with water dripping from theer heads and all wet from head to toe. Strange isnt it? đ and such scenes seems so common now-a-days in tellywood đ
