Will never play what I am in real life on reel life: Sonam Kapoor

The glam, fashion icon that she is considered in real life, Sonam Kapoor doesn't like to carry that image in reel. No matter how much applause the actress wins for her tasteful signature style on red carpets, at Cannes etc, Sonam says she doesn't believe in living it out on screen in her films too.
"It is not mandatory that whatever I am in real life, I would depict that in my roles on screen as well," says the actress, "In fact, I will never play anything of me and my real life in my films. These are two very different things and I would like to look at them like that."
Sonam also doesn't approve of the reference to the word 'de-glam' used for her roles in some films. "I don't like the word de-glam, I think it is distasteful, almost as if it meant ugly. Instead, I like to use the word 'natural' maybe..." she says when asked about her no-makeup look in films liked Dilli -6, Bhaag Milkha Bhaag etc as against her image of being a style diva in real.
