After Sangeet the couples had the opportunity to sit and have their dinner together. Arnav and Abhay thanked their cupid Shyam for implementing such an idea as they were the last set of people to have food after serving the guests. The elders departed the dining hall leaving behind the young couples and their friends. As per their idea Arnav took a seat near by Khushi who was being followed by the Bhai Teasing Squad Anjali and Lavanya..

Arnav : Arre.. di.. why are you both behind me.. Im not a kid.. I know to have my food.

Anjali : Who cares if you eat or not? WE are just here to protect our bhabhi from you. Dont you know you guys cant see each other after tomorrow..

Arnav : What the ? What has that got to do with protecting her ? Im not going to eat her up.

Khushi blushed and nodded innocently in concurrence.

Lavanya : Di.. looks like they are shooing us away from their privacy..Forget today.. We can continue our work strict from tomorrow.

Arnav didnt take much time in catching Lavanya's ears. Lavanya tried to escape but she couldnt as he knew better she would try to escape so caught her wrists at first.

Arnav : Chutki... You are really too much now a days..

Lavanya : ouch.. bhai.. please.. sorry.. I didnt mean.. Bhabhi.. please ask him to leave my ears.

Khushi : Leave her Arnavji.. How dare you hurt my SIL's ears... They are right.. Let them be here.. whats the harm?

Arnav raised his eyebrows surprised at Khushi taking their side thats when Lavanya got the opportunity to squirm and escape from his hold.

Arnav : So you ladies are forming team against me.. and Khushi.. you argue with me uh? Fine.. You all enjoy your dinner.. bye..

Arnav faked anger and turned around leaving them shocked. Khushi was really scared seeing this posessive side of him felt worried for ignoring him.

Anjali : uff. Lavanya.. You created a small tiff between ur bhai and bhabhi.. See chotte is going now.. what will Khushi do now ?

Looking at Khushi's worried face Anjali kept a hand on her shoulders and smiled.

Anjali(whispering) : Khushi.. I have an idea to cool chotte's anger.

Khushi :Whats that di ?

Anjali : He is like a little kid.. He wants to have food with you thats all. Just go with these plates behind him and feed him one morsel.He will be alright.

Khushi smiled at Anjali and nodded excitedly.She took the plate and entered the room where Arnav was sittting alone with his phone checking his mails. She sat across him with the plates making him aware of her presence but he pretended not to acknowledge her presence continued ignoring her. She took a small piece of puri and dipped in dal taking it near his mouth.

Arnav : I dont want anything.. You can have it with Di and chutki.

Khushi understood the kid was a little adamant.

Khushi : Sorry Arnavji.. Wont you eat for me please.. You can punish me for that . Please dont show your anger on the food.

Arnav stared at the clear innocent eyes which pleaded to forgive her. He felt sorry for making her say sorry. He was just faking anger to know what her reaction would be. It did affect her knocking him more than her. Khushi felt he wasnt convinced and was taking back her hand while he caught her wrist had a bite from the puri she had in her hand.

Arnav : Im sorry Khushi... I just wanted to tease you thats all.. but if you are sure you are ready for punishment. Then this is your punishment.. Feed me these.

Khushi smiled at him instantly, that radiating smile increased his heartbeats..

Khushi : Im all ready for this punishment. Show me .. Take this now..

Arnav : Wait I too should get punished for unnecessarily worrying you.. So I will feed you too.

Both of them laughed at their craziness. While they were feeding each other they felt goosebumps at each other touch as if they were touching each other for the first time. Arnav could feel the heat rising up between them so to make her comfortable he started talking some random topics which made this feeding session easier. They couldnt agree more that they wouldnt have had such a nice dinner ever in their life.

Khushi : What happened Arnavji ? Do you need anything?

Arnav smiled and nodded no..

Arnav : I don't want anything but I want to give you something..

Khushi was perturbed at the havoc created by his breath fanning his lips when he bend down a little towards her.

Khushi : A..A..Arnavji.. whaa.. what ?

Arnav controlled his smile to the max finally resting his forehead on hers.

Arnav : Thank you so much for an awesome dinner.. I would appreciate if I could get this dinner experience for life time..

Khushi smiled felt emotional. She moved her hands to cup his cheeks.

Khushi : Hamesha.. (Always)..

Arnav's happiness knew no bounds, he knew her answer would make his heart flutter. Making her conscious about their married life they are going to enter in a few hours,he pressed his lips on her forehead moving towards her nose pecking it in a giffy. Khushi tried to move away from him feeling shy which made him a bit skeptical.

Arnav : Khushi.. Im sorry You didn't like what I did ?

Khushi : Arnavji.. Its too late.. before my sister in laws come with a gang to tease us we should be moving out..

Arnav agreed.. He cant be taking much freedom on her but he felt it was a necessity to show his love through his actions too. The Sangeet night provided them so many memories to cherish for their impending colourful life.

Gupta house was filled with ladies who had gathered for the mehndi function. Khushi had been trying to get ready for the past half an hour but in vain as her Arnavji is on the phone talking to her still.Arnav didn't spare a moment to talk about their honey moon trip which he had planned and kept as an option. Khushi was trying to deviate him from asking that question which made her embarassed but thanked him for not asking her when she met him in person..

Khushi : Arnavji.. I think all of them have come.. Let me get ready or else Buaji will enter my room with a cane..

Arnav : What is this Khushi ? You remember we cant meet today and tomorrow till the marriage night.. So cant you spend sometime talking to me?

Khushi : I agree Arnavji.. but I have to leave for Mehndi now. Guests have arrived. I suppose Anjali di and Lavanya Misha Shreya, Swetha , Kavya all of them would have arrived by now.. Please Arnavji.. understand.. I promise to call you after this..

Arnav : hmm.. ok I trust your words.. Finish it fast.. Im waiting..

Khushi : Thanks Arnavji .. bye. Muah..

This girl really kindled the fire he thought.. He just expected her to say a bye but the last bit was too much to make his curiosity to view that blush arising on her cheeks with his presence. He looked around his house only to find his nani talking to some of the guests.. An idea popped up.

The ladies present in Guptha house were awed to see the ethnic beauty coming out of the room.Dressed in a butter cream and green multi coloured ethnic saree which had embroidery with laces, sequins and stones with blue border yet providing a simple look Khushi gave the impression of a fairy entering the hall making everyone gasp with her beauty.

The mehndi ceremony was on its full swing.. Ladies were very busy in getting mehndi done while there were many ladies beside them singing songs. The mehndi wali asked Khushi about the letter she had to draw.

Khushi : voh..

Five heads popped up around her shouting at the same pace.

"A" ' A for Arnavji..

Shreya, Swetha, Kavya, Lavanya and Misha.. Those were the naughty brats who shocked Khushi to come out of her blush when asked about the name.

Khushi : You all scared me!

Shreya : Scared ? Why would we ? Now file a complaint against us to your Arnavji.

Khushi : of course I will.. Come here..

Shreya moved near her to show her ears while Khushi whispered..

Khushi : I saw something brewing up between you and Khushal. As a boss my Arnavji can take up that complaint too.

Shreya was dumbfounded to know Khushi had noticed the some looks shared between her and Khushal. She pleaded her with her eyes not to let out things in public as the hawk eyes were waiting for their secret talks. Khushi raised her head and agreed succesful of removing one teasing agent from the gang.Suddenly she could feel her heart beats making her conscious. Her locks moving with the small breeze which was passing in through the window. Her heart eratically increased its beats progressively. She closed her eyes and could utter only one word

Khushi : Arnavji?????

Shyam : Saalesahab.. didn't we tell you stay back.. its Mehndi.. ladies function.. You cant attend this.. I m surprised to see your impatience.

Arnav: Oh really if it's a ladies function then why you both are here?

Akash : That's not the point.. You are the Dulha.. you cant be here. Dadi.. how come you allowed this? This is not fair!

Nani : Akash bitwa' my grand son wants me to bless his fiance directly for her mehndi. I cant ignore his request so came with him.

Shyam : But Naniji.. you could have called us or take someone else with you..

Arnav : Jeejaji relax.. Mamaji and my colleagues only are at home..Abhay has gone to collect some things from the town.. So Im the only option left.

Akash : hmm.. good one bro.. I know your BE brains are working here too. I hope no one would question your visit here.

Sashi : Akash babua.. that's ok.. let him come inside..

Arnav winked at his brother & brother in law for winning his father in law's heart who is supposed to be a traditional conservative father. Still he didn't make use of the opportunity instead stayed back with them as a sort of respect to the love showered by his father in law.

Arnav : I will stay here papa.. Let Nani go inside..

Sashi was pleased at his gesture and took Nani inside. Akash and Shyam occupied the two sides of Arnav who was sitting on the couch..

Akash : Whats the use of sitting out when your intention was to meet Bhabhi?

Shyam : Yea.. Something fishy.. whats the plan dear?

Arnav : You guys look at me with such suspicious eyes..

Akash : are u sure there is nothing?

Arnav nodded a no while he heard the anklets sound nearing his ears.. The next moment he turned around to witness Khushi standing behind the window smiling at him. He was knocked off by the sight.. His beautiful fiance in saree ? He couldn't take off his eyes.. Looking at the staring session Akash and Shyam slowly tried to protect these love birds from being caught. After a while Shyam turned around to assure Arnav that no one was watching but to his horror Arnav was not in his place. Even Khushi was not seen near the window.. Shyam notified Akash who was double scared while Sashi came back to join them.

Sashi : Arre.. where is Arnav ?

Both of them answere in unison thinking of saving the situation..

Shyam : he has gone to the washroom.

Akash : he wanted to drink water.

Shyam pinched Akash on his wrist for blabbering.

Shyam : he has gone to the washroom bauji..

Just then a bike entered the place. Sashi and others tilted their heads to find out who they were.. Sashi was feeling elated seeing his son back to his house.. Though he had worries and disappointment with his son his heart went emotional to see him back home. Someone else had also accompanied him.

Arnav and Khushi were standing behind the door giving the gatekeeper post to Shreya and Swetha.. Arnav took his own time folding his hands on his chest distancing away from Khushi to admire her from head to toe. Khushi had butterflies fluttering in her stomach by his stare..

Khushi : Arnavji.. did you come here to stare?

Arnav: Actually I wouldn't have come here if you hadnt done that while hanging up the call? What was the need to give me a flying kiss making me go mad?

Khushi ( pouting) : that was spontaneous. I didn't plan it though..

Arnav : So consider this as spontaneous.. I didn't plan to stare you like this ..all because of this saree you are wearing making you look like a fairy.. So are u done with the mehndi?

Khushi : Look here. She has just finished my hands. Now I have to go for my legs too. I just took a break in between.

Arnav: How will you have food then ?

Khushi : My amma will feed me.. after a long time my amma is going to feed me..

Arnav: Lucky you.. but don't worry if you are missing your amma Im there to feed you anytime u want but I wont be able to give that happiness your mother gives you.

Khushi's eyes started to get moist.. The mere thought of getting seperated from the family was on one side and the other side the happiness of getting such a caring partner.

Arnav was about to wipe her tears with the thumb when they suddenly heard some noise from outside.

Sashi held Nandkishore by his shoulders but considering the crowd surrounding them.. He controlled his anger..

Sashi : what the hell are you talking about Nandkishore?

NK : Im talking with my sense.. I want you to cancel this marriage as soon as possible.

Sashi : Stop your rant.. Its your sister's marriage. Why are you hell bent in insulting me everytime ?

NK : Still you don't consider me as your son.. don't you? You think about your daughter and her life.. The same way I think more about my sister her life.. Its important to me too.

Sashi : Then why are you ruining her marriage?

NK : Im not ruining her marriage.. I want to save her from this.. You are pushing her out of this house to hell..

His voice was loud enough that all of them came out to witness the scene. Shyam and Akash were perplexed and rooted on spot hearing it.

NK : Yes.. the groom you have selected for your daughter is having lot of relationships in US.. He is not the same as you all think.. You did the greatest mistake of not verifying about his character before hand. See this is my friend Sanjay.. he is the one who had witnessed that man's real face.

Arnav came there with Khushi following him. Nani was tensed at the scene created around, her worries began to increase her pressure as the scene of history was repeating again.

Garima : Beta.. don't panic us..

NK : Im not amma.. My friend knows about this clearly.

As soon as he saw Arnav with his sister behind his blood began to boil. NK : what have you got to say about this Mr.Arnav Singh Raizada?

Khushi : NK.. whats all this?

NK: Chotti' I cant just close my eyes when your life is getting spoiled. How easy was it to spoil my innocent sister's life while having numerous affairs abroad?

Arnav : Enough ' Repeating the same lines wont make your statements as facts.

His friend who was watching Arnav's confused expression decided to speak out.

Sanjay: Im sure NK. I saw this man with that girl in the mall. I remember his friend Abhay was also with him. His friend was the one who introduced her to us as his friend Arnav's girlfriend..

Those words shook the entire crowd. Nani was taken aback at the accusation hurled on her grandson, Anjali and Akash looked like their blood were boiling in anger as they weren't able to hear such a gross allegation against their brother. The families were totally shocked but there were two pair of eyes which didn't have any effect on this.. Arnav who was trying to figure out what was happening and why this guy was creating such a ruckus, Khushi who was thinking almost the same and worried about her Arnavji's name being dragged out for a meaningless claim in front of the public.

Before Arnav could open his mouth Shyam butted in

Shyam : How can you confirm that my Saale sahab was having an affair with such a lady?

Sanjay : Yes.. I can be sure.. I visited the apartment where he was staying with Abhay and I got the confirmations from the neighbors that they had witnessed so many girls getting into their flat frequently even at odd times.

Arnav clenched his fists in anger. He knew that that man was talking about Abhay's flat where they were staying before. After Abhay moved to his flat he had forgotten to update anyone about their address which must have led to this confusion. His nerves were getting hot and about to lash at that guy when NK interrupted.

NK : I don't want to hear about anything. I don't wish my sister's life to get destroyed because of this characterless man.

The next moment a hard slap hit across his cheeks the sound reverberating the entire hall terrifying everyone.

Lavanya Raizada who was hiding behind the door when she saw that the commotion was created by none other than her ex boy friend Kishore.. She thought by her presence she would become a bloc for her bhai's and bhabhi's life all these days.. But the one word.. Calling her bhai as characterless made her come out of that shell and show her utmost anger which she had suppressed all these days..Arnav Khushi and the entire family was shocked by Lavanya's out burst not able to comprehend why she slapped NK unnecessarily..

Lavanya : How dare you call my bhai as characterless? You don't deserve to even stand near him and you have the guts to call him Characterless? One word against him from your mouth I wont hesitate to kill you infront of your own family..

Arnav moved back Lavanya thinking that she was agitated due to the love for her brother when she couldn't tolerate her brother being questioned of his character.

Arnav : Chutki ' why did you slap him ? We can get answers. Don't just get carried away just because he blamed me..

Lavanya : No bhai.. he is not worthy to hear out your explanations.. How dare he expect you to clarify about your character?

NK who didn't expect this coming soon. But when he was literally insulted infront of the huge crowd he couldn't help himself rather than to lash out at her.

Khushi : Lavanya.. Please calm down.. Its.

NK : oh.. so that was a revenge from your side? Isnt it ?

Lavanya : What revenge? My brother is not a spineless man like you who would give hopes of love to a girl and cheat her by running away like a jerk.

Those words did blow away Arnav and Khushi as they knew whom she was talking about..

Khushi : So that means Kishore ?

Lavanya : Yes bhabhi.. that Kishore who cheated me in the name of love is none other than your brother who is standing here. I was keeping my mouth shut only for you and Bhai but Im sorry I can't tolerate when he who don't even deserve to face all of us questions my brother's character.

Arnav was seething with anger.. The next moment he became oblivious of the surroundings, his family and even his Khushi.. He stormed near NK punching on his face beating him to hell. The anger startled Khushi too but she knew the pain and hurt behind it.. Akash and Shyam tried to get Arnav back but he was not ready to withdraw his hand from that person who cheated his sister.

NK himself pushed Arnav while Shyam and Akash caught him trying to control the beast in him.

NK tried to twist the situation..

NK : Stop.. So was that a revenge on my sister for cheating your sister?

Lavanya was not ready to leave him so soon.. She knew the facts..

Lavanya : How was it a revenge ? You said you are leaving the place only after my brother's and your sister's marriage was fixed. I m sure my presence should be the only reason for you to run away. You were scared that I would find out your original identity while you were faking to be a Millionaire's son while dating with me.

The spectators witnessing the scene were stumped off at the relevations. Akash and Mamiji were glaring in anger, Khushi felt weak in her knees who was clutched by Payal for support. Garima and Buaji started crying. Anjali held Nani who was already on the verge of an emotional outbreak.. Arnav shrugged off his hands from others clutching his collar.

Arnav : I know my conscience.. I never cheat my Khushi..

He stated without even looking at her once..

Arnav :but tell me one reason on why the hell did you cheat my sister?

NK : I had solid reasons.. It was not a cheating..I did teach her a lesson.. I wanted to deliberately show her the bitter consequences of her greed and selfpride.

Arnav : What do you mean ?

NK : Yes.. Because of your sister's greed and love for wealth my friend had attempted suicide. Do you know that?

Lavanya was shocked to hear a new allegation now.. who was that? She began to memorise herself.

NK : You wont even remember who it was Lavanya'When you joined your first year my friend had fallen in love with you and he did propose you.. when you got aware about his financial status What did you tell him ? You said you are not interested in such roadside Romeos and you mocked him infront of your gang calling him poor & abusing him. He was heartbroken and attempted suicide. After a long suffering we just got back him to normal last month.. Do you even know how much he suffered because of you.. I did it for my friend.. I faked like a rich man infront of you! you did fall for the money I faked not for me.

Lavanya : I don't even know who it was.. One fine day he just come & propose me, should I accept him only for the reason that he is obsessed with me? I don't even know what happened to him.. Where he was..How can you expect me to find out when I don't know the person? I feel disgusting to think about how I had loved you once.

Arnav : If you had that guts before why didn't you confess it before. This is what is called as Revenge.. One wrong cant clear another wrong.

NK knew where this was heading.. He just had one way to escape himself. He was ready to face the reality and to face the punishment but not before clearing his part of suspicions on Arnav.

NK : Yes' I was taking revenge.. to show her the place where she belongs.. but what you did is far from what I did.. Getting into relationships with different women cheating my sister for no fault of hers. Tell what can it be called for.. Now just that I have given your reasons. You are bound to reply that too.. Don't take out the image of a NRI who is used all these sort of relationships as that wasn't the impression you created in my family.

Arnav was about to open his mouth to reveal the truth while Swetha's face appeared in the crowd with an anticipation of what would come out of his mouth.. He was freezed at that point.. If he was to take Abhay's name then he had to think about Swetha's life too. If he didn't prove his innocence he is spoiling his Khushi's life. He was in dilemma but the sudden shriek of a familiar voice stunned him from his thoughts..
