Does anyone know anybody from NIT-Durgapur here?

Hello guys! I know Qh has a wide fan-base, from different fields. Actually I got selected in NIT durgapur for my B. Tech, so I'd like to know if there is someone here from the institute! 😃

I don't think its very good. Look for other options too. Its not bad but people will prefer other NITs. The place is not that good. What other options do u have?

Yaar actually first I got NIT rourkela but after uogradation it's NIT durgapur. Although it's mechanical I'm still little disappointed as I have my relatives at Rourkela, a sister at NIT and it's a good place too. Now Durgapur is a new place forme and I have to join there. But it's okay, as they say beggars have no choice!
By the way did you mean NIT durgapur is not a good place?

congrats dear! My Jee main score is 182.5. First I got EIN in NIT-RKL but then finally it's MEC in NIT-dgp.
I didn't get my rank for JEE-Adv.Qh screwed up my studies! I spent maximum time writing stuffs on it!
And strangely I don't feel any regret! Had it happened 1 year back I could have got a heart attack! This is the effect Qh and AsYa have on you! 😃

u know what ever i am all coz of a breakup,exam ke just 6 mahine pehle mera break up hua,n break up ke karan mujh buddhu me IIT crack kar liya,n now i regret that initial 6 month i wasted on her warna meri ranking top 100 ke andar hoti,anyways jo hota hai ache ke liye hota hai,congrats n best of luck

Studies are going to be my first priority now, I just got side tracked but I still got NIT and I am thankful to God for that, because I was having some personal problems and chose Qh to keep it out of my mind. I didn't touch my books for whole six months, of course nobody knows that and I felt so sorry for my parents and teachers who expected do much from me! They are glad that I have got this only by self study and at the first attempt. And I am glad that God has given me another chance and I am not gonna miss it anyway!
Enough about me, sorry for that break-up stuff. I am glad that you are out of it now. Actually it's better if you don't get involved in love during your studies. It usually leads to distraction. As per me, love is a beautiful feeling but this is not thettime for it. So, where are you taking admission? And what was your score?

Mains me 5573 rank advance me 4568 rank ofcourse IIT KANPUR,i am already here in kanpur n have a flat on rent now coz i have to trick the authority that i am localite otherwise hostel compulsory tha but i am playing smart
