Is there anything left in this serial? It started off with a lady orineted subject who can lead the society with her heronics. Not she is tied with her stupid daughter and senseless, endless and miserable storyline. should we book a bed in mental asylam?

I dont agree with you. A serial cannot be simply a dragging element as millions of people watching it as they liked it in the beginning of serial. A serial should be fun or eagar to watch. This is being telecasted in prime time and wasting time of so many people. yea yeah i agree i can switch to other channels but others are not that good too & we are used to watching astitva as it had been fentastic for some time.

Hi Rachel,
You can be so funny. No Please don't book a bed in any asylum 😆 I know what you mean. Most members feel that way.
Every serial that's not based on a proper novel or authorbacked story is going to get dragged after a while if they don't end it in good time. But obviously they make money for the producers and channels or else they just go off the channel without any notice.
It's a pity that Astitva is going thru that phase.Hope Manas's return will bring back some of it's lost popularity.

You are more than welcome to post your grievances here but if you really want to be heard send in your views to Zee Tv directly.

Cheers

Akshata - Yea my comments about asylum are a bit funny and cercastic. I guess everyone is posting here actually liked the serial during its initial phase(probably i would say until Manas was around) but now it became boring and we cant see a good serial turned into the dragging serial like others.
Now seems there is not much happening around hospital and the story is more focussed on family drama involving astha, sia...
Simran is pretty much doing nothing aprat from crying whenever she sees Astha in angry mood. I would say Simran should have handled the whole Astha & Neha drama much better instead of hiding the facts from Astha. Astha getting to know every past event via other channels instead of getting to know those from either Abhi or Simran. funny thing is, except astha everyone else know about everything and all of them are supportive to simran. But simran didnt do the same to Astha. I dont know if Simran has confidance to handle any problem anymore. She is now almost a dummy character in the serial. Its time to Manas get back & guide Simran properly to solve all these stupid problems so that we can live in piece 😉

Absolutely Rachel! But even with Manas's entry things won't change overnight. There will be the initial awkwardness due to the long gap and the reason they moved away.
We are all right in our opinion that Simran should have told Astha everything and that Astha's behavior is a bit too much to believe and accept, but just to be able to enjoy the show(as this is the only serial I watch)I am trying to understand it from the director's point of view.Instead of judging who's right and wrong,I sit back and simply watch.I have realized it's not so bad. They are trying to show us that Simran, even if she's a successful doctor has had her share of stress and trauma and at 55 she is also looking for emotional support. At times when a couple is going through a "patching up" phase, kids do get neglected.
Kiran's entry and vindictive plots are an exaggerated version of what people really do in life.If there is rift within a family, outsiders are seen to have sadistic pleasure.
Our discussions are based on the assumption that it's all real. For a change lets just enjoy it as any TV serial and we may still find it one of the better,if not the best serial. These are just my views.

Cheers

Astitva has been a very good show "once upon a time". How do you like that 😆 😉 😃

Yes, it's fantastic beginning raised our expectation level. It is still good in the sense that they are showing a consistency in the characters.

Simran: she has been a successful doctor and hopefully she still is, her hosptal grew with time. She was never able to handle things on her own and always needed help from Manas. Until he was around, she was acting sensible but since he left her, she has started using her own brain and hence the issues. Jokes apart, it's hard to be a single parent. Infact, Mom-Dad together sometimes fail to raise a child but she did all alone. She did not tell the truth because of her insecurities and she somestimes seemingly loves/cares/trusts Sia more because she is her real daughter and Simran is human. She is bound to make mistakes.

Abhi: He has been a useless person since the beginning of the show. Person with great caliber but hardly sticks to anything, be it his profession or wives. He was always been impulsive and he still is. Time has hardly changed him. Moreover, he still is a romantic person 😉 . I wonder how he did not melt in front of short haired Sia? Perhaps he never liked girls with short hair 😃. He has always been around women with long hair 😆 😆

Saurabh: He has been a sensible person except for the fact that he had an extra marital affair until age of 58 or 60. He has always guided and advised Simran to tell Astha, the truth.

Abhi's Parents: Have always been apologitic and never could handle one situation for the good of the family.

Sia: She is too irritating for me to write anything about her.

Astha: She has been very consistent thru out. She has always been shown as not liking wrong doings, short tempered. She is portaying a good teenager problems. Infact, she is a very good example of raised kids in troubled families.

It is dragging a lot but Mr Sinha is still showing some good points.
