The show miley jab hum tum (2008) proved lucky in more ways than one for sanaya- she found love in her co star mohit sehgal who played the college hearthrob samrat. Much like their characters in the show , sparks didn't fly instantly , but sanaya soon found herself drawn to mohit. " i get attracted to ppl with extremely clean hearts . Mohit doesn't have a bad thing to say about anyone even if they have been bad to him " she smiles. As the show was nearing its end , mohit confessed his feelings. " but i turned him down , i thought the only reason we think we like each other is because we are together all day , doing these romantic scenes. I didn't want a show to be the reason for me to be with someone ." She says. But they couldn't stay apart for long.
Four years on , sanaya admits she has changed a lot as a person but mohit hasn't changed as a boyfriend." ' i take him for granted but he doesn't . He still gets upset if i havn't had my meal or if I am late for a meeting " says sanaya adding that he still beleives in making romantic gestures like buying flowers and sweets. " he just finds a reason to celebrate . Shame on me I do no such thing "
