Dirk: 'I don't like people'

Dirk has admitted that his Big Brother experience has only bolstered his reclusive tendencies.

Ian told Dirk and Cleo that he intended to spend two days on his own when he leaves the house. "I'm spending my life on my own," quipped the actor. "I don't like being around people."

"Has [this] confirmed that?" asked Ian.

"Oh yeah," Dirk replied, "but I didn't need confirmation. I don't like people. Living with people is...I avoid it like the plague."

Then as the shutter lifted to reveal the garden, he pleaded for it to stop. "It's so claustrophobic and wonderful," he cried.
