Disha my dear,

What on earth are you all going on and on and on about, beginning from a fake report about a nonexistent ban of JA sought by the CM of Maharashtra?

Why don't any of you check the main Indian newspapers, the Times of India, The Hindustan Times, The Indian Express etc., online to get the correct position before you waste your time and energy on pages and pages of non-informed comment? Just look at the title of this thread, which assumes that the fake report is correct!

I have done this once again over the last 5 minutes, and there is not a line about any anti-JA protests, or about any call for a ban in any State of India, even Rajasthan. The first protest in Ambala was covered by the Times of India, so it is not that they are ignoring the subject. It is obviously that there are no fresh news items about this to report. Which means tha there is nothing for any of you, and for me, to worry about.

It depresses me to see so many bright young people indulging in such rumour mongering without taking the trouble to consult any reliable sources, like the big dailies. I have written about this thrice on 2 different threads, but it seems to have no effect on you folks at all. So I am washing my hands of this subject as of now.

So what, Sonila? You can get 1000 people to protest about anything any time in India, and TV can make 20 people look like a crowd.

The point is that if it was serious, the papers would have covered it; in 2008, the film's problems were on page 1 for days. Now there is not a single column in any major paper, and that has to mean something. But if you all want to panic about it and run around like headless chickens, what can I or anyone else do about it?

Let us take the worst case hypothesis, that there is a countrywide ban on the show. It will NEVER happen, but let us assume it or your sakes, for Ekta will not shut it down come hell or high water,. What can you or all the lamenting crowd in this forum do about it? Nothing.

If you think your FB and Twitter and other campaigns are going to make any difference to Zee or Balaji, you are wrong. The final decision, which will be to keep it going, will be a purely financial one and not one dictated by the fans.If Zee/Balaji do not want to bear the loss, they will go to the courts and get the ban vacated in a matter of days. It was exactly what happened with the film for a few days in MP. But the need will not arise, for there will be no ban.

So, for the LAST time, do not fret, and enjoy the show. And in case you all still decide to keep flapping, I for one will spare my nerves by avoiding all these pointless threads.
