I honestly don't think there is anything wrong with liking Suryabhan or the Suryabhan-Jodha pairing. He is her first love, her ideal and her relationship with him is a part of her character development. And the guy is not bad! He's a king who puts his subjects first, treats his beloved with reverence and wants to fight against the Mughals! Yes, he has not done anything concrete against them, but war preparations take time and no one has any inkling of an attack just yet. Much as I like Jalal, even he decided to kick back and relax with Ruq for a few days- he didn't get to Agra and make plans to attack Amer- even now, there is nothing concrete.
I like to Akdha pairing- they have fire, the potential for a lot of passion, and great chemistry. But Suryabhan represents Jodha innocence, her first love, her first crush. He's important, and the scenes between them are so cute!
I'm just ignoring all the historical inaccuracies here, as Ekta has done the same!
P.S: How many are looking forward to jealous, obsessive, possessive Jalal as Jodha compares him to Suryabhan and finds him lacking at ever turn?

Aw, thank you! I'm looking forward to the Akdha track just as much as other people, but I don't see why we can't enjoy Jodha-Suryabhan until then. They look good together, she smiles in his presence, she's falling for him.
She still remembers Akbar, he is still on her mind a lot, its not like she has forgotten him. Plus all the sweetness now will just become bittersweet for her later on- it'll give her the strength to fight against Jalal!
Akbar is going to be the love of her life. But Suryabhan is her first love. We should enjoy that just as we are enjoying Akbar and Ruq. After all, according to Shaguni Bai, the wedding will be soon😉
Different people have different opinions and I'm just contributing my 2 cents!

I am watching the show for Akhda but i can tell you i am liking Suryabhan.I am feeling sorry for him though because he is genuine and sincere person who upholds honour and respect.He and Jodha may not have that fire and fire chemistry but their interactions are cute and adorable.Their are just enjoying their time together with one another as they are/think they will embark on a new life together.I see anxiety and shyness with them...no signs of lust or any tension except for when Jalal's name is mentioned.I have no problem with Suryabhan at all.I dnt know if Jodha is in love with him but she is definitely crushing on him and why not?He is everything she wants in a husband...have respect for her,has dignity,uphold values and honour,is loyal to his servants.

As someone said its going to be something interesting to see her compare Suryabhan to Jalal.

Of course my thirst to see Akhda scenes hasnt quenched but for now these scenes are very nice to watch especially when we know a big change is going to happen.That is what they are trying to show.Jodha has accepted Suryabhan as her fiance and maybe husband and is waiting or the day they tie to knot but then reality kicks in the name of Jalaluddin the man she despises and now will be everything she detests.
