Once upon a time there lived a beautiful girl who was all set to become a software engineer or a Criminal Psychologist. Little did she know that the future held other plans for her. The twist of fate began when her mother sent some pictures of hers, to the Miss India beauty contest. She was selected, and lo and behold, she won the crown!
She then went on to win the International pageant Miss World as well. The girl had transformed into a diva overnight. From then onwards, there has been no looking back for Priyanka Chopra. She has been traveling all the way upwards towards fame and recognition. With a string of successful films to her credit and being India's first female International pop star, Priyanka Chopra has seen it all.

Priyanka debuted with 'The Hero' in 2002 opposite Sunny Deol. She went on to do numerous films, the most successful being Aitraaz, Fashion, Dostana, Don 2, Krrish 2, Kaminey, and the more recently released Barfi! which got her a lot of critical acclaim and appreciation. Priyanka has sealed her place in Bollywood, proving her acting mettle yet again.
Personal life
Priyanka Chopra has always been a family person. She was extremely close to her dad, who passed away recently. 'Daddy's lil girl' will be celebrating her first birthday without her dad, this year. However, like all odds, we know that Peecee will brave this one too.
Priyanka belongs to that category of stars who don't discuss their private life in public. Despite rumours and interfering media, Priyanka has always held her head high and cared less for any flak that came her way.
International recognition
