Getting Hopeful

So I know a lot of us have been getting anxious that serial is now following the novel more closely...That is a bit scary...But the CVs have spent the better part of 4 months in creating some distinct differences with novel. There must be a reason for that...

I find solace in the following deviations

1. Dukhba's character: why would they create her...just to show history repeating?...Nah...I think her sole purpose going forward is to get Kumud out from her current hell
2. Gandharva vivah: Haldi, Mehendi, Sindoor at God's altar, garland exchange, kanku on the face, PMS...Why did the CVs take the risk of a media uproar on this...if it doesn't serve a purpose.
3. Refernce to Ram and Sita: Yes, Radha-Krishna are the most prominent mythical/divine characters but Kumud in particular has made several reference to Ram-Sita. She compares Saras to Ram, also tells Kusum that their story is like Ram-Sita. Ofcourse, the disturbing part is their wedding date was supposed to be on the Hindu calender day of Ram-Sita vivah...then why did it not happen?...should we take solace in the synchronicity of the sindoor on her maang and blood on his forehead...But why did Raavan (Pramad) put the sindoor...disturbing
   
4. Danny's character: Why was he created if it were not to be the strongest ally for Samud...Isnt he bharat and laxman rolled into one?
5. Kumari-Umesh saga; Does this not make Saras's misgivings more forgivable?
   
6. Kumud has already cooked a meal for LN and received money as blessing for it -- typically done by bahu only after marriage
7. Karvachauth: This was total 'logic ki vaat' as arshi and a lot of you say 😊, since A- Gujjus don't observe Karvachauth and B- KC is around the diwali time frame...Why did the CVs do this if not to give us one more reassurance that SaMUd are indeed man and wife...My guess is her second KC will also be with Saras...Mere muuh me ghee chakkar :😊
   
8. Saras's entry into BD mansion: Why did it happen on suhaag raat itself...and why did she feed him her first cooked dish after rasoi-pooja

In the real world

• When Gautam or Utkarsh are asked about following the novel, they say yes it is being followed, but ask a direct question on the ending and they get evasive.
• In SBS segment on the scene where Saras sees Kumud in a saree for the first time (albeit as reflection), there is a funny segment where Gautam says something in Hindi very very fast that even Jennifer cant comprehend. If you listen closely, gautam says that people don't even realize that what they want has already happened...I am sure he means the wedding
• In the SBS segment on Karva chauth, Jennifer says that we will have to watch the serial to know if the wedding happens a week later or in the future...

and u observed jenny gautam ivs really very carefully...i too have observed those things...plus cvs have right from the beginning emphasized on unspoken love and unspoken marriage ...and following it too !!

there may be logic ki watt but never actual watt on how to proceed with saras kumud ...they r quit clear about it

In the beginning the love was unspoken and now its profounded... so will be their marriage .😊

The marriage ...right now its unspoken...but by end of the show it will happen...but only in end ...till then we have to bear all drama ...whether we like it or not !!!

Brilliant analysis😃 When i saw the promos of SC, there was a scene where dukhbaa denies kumud's marriage with saras, then i thought that oh she must be a negative character but lately she came out to be the most positive character😊 She is the one who can understand kumud at this phase of her life, here she is compelled to fulfill a forced marriage. Dukhbaa and kumud talk through eyes, talk through emtions, know each other completely, she is more than a mother for kumud. Obviouslyy the writers have thought someting good, i hope dukhbaa stands for kumud and takes her out of the hell as u said😊

The writers showed karwachauth, showed the much hyped PMS, obviously for a reason, they wanted to take the relationship of saras and kumud ahead. They actually showed them as husband and wife. Kumud has many times focued on the fact that they are ram and sita and not radha krishna😊 which is agood sign

Coming to the offscreen interviews, i so agree with . They have many times said that they will follow the novel, but didnt clearly spoke about the ending. Why? something interesting planned up😃 And u focused on the offscreen int of jenam where gautam speaks too fast, i never noticed what he said but ur conclusion makes sense😃

Lastly Mr SLB, who himself said in the start of the show "muqammal mohabbat ki adhoori daastaan, ab hogi poori", he obviously thought something before saying this😊

So yes these things make me hopeful😳
