Before Zoya sees credit card bills both were oblivious to Tanveer. tanveer gave very believable answer for why order was received in factory.. Zoya told burn marks are fake, what we saw there were actual burn marks, even zoya got stumped, after seeing those burn marks in real, Shoukd Asad believe those are fake? No normal person can think that there can be some psycho who will burn himself..

Then what, Zoya told that Tanveer is the person who has white eye, din't Asad believe her?.? He said yes she is, but what Tannu told him before only..So in this did How did Asad mistrust Zoya?And remember till this point , even Zoya did not know tanveer was trying to kill her, she was just doubting thinking tanveer is upto something, she was not clear herself

after this she actually confronted Billi.. So after this knwing truth Did she even once tell him what Billi is trying to do and her purpose?. Couldnt she just tell Asad billi's plan is this this, her factory is running ( common she can easily hack her bank accnt).Did she tell SR plan? Did she tell sbout acid mehrndi?. And in acid mehrndi Asad would hav definitely believe..Did she ever tell Asad anything even that she is doubting Tannu after confrontation , in fact she acted like billi is her bestie which made Asad think that Zoya accepted she was wrong and now everything is fine bet Zoya-tannu.. Zoya should have continued with her doubt n taunting eith Tanveer but she chose to behave like her bestie..why?..After seeing Zoya-Tanveer too goody gppdy, what the hell Asad should think, he would definitely think Zoya's doubts are cleared and she has no problm with tannu and zoya herself accepted that tnveer was not wrong..Isn't it?.

Dint you see Asad's face when Zoya said tanveer's burn marks are fake, for a sec he does believe her and did bnot scold gher but was waiting tannu to show those marks.. If Zoya would have continued with her doubt Asad would have believe at least doubt Tanveer but unfortunately Zoya became tannu's bestie in front of others

Now that he has called off the nikaah, yelled at her, and announced his nikaah with the Billi, obviously it's going to look like Zoya is just doing it to stop the JaNu nikaah.

No, definitely Asad would not believe her!

In his eyes Tanweer is a saint.

Asad has no trust for Zoya, even now, I guess. Otherwise, he would have respected her decision to come back to him; and if he had accepted and respected her, he would definitely have told her the truth about why can't he marry her. He should have known it will hurt her either way, and so, let it be the most truthful and direct way, rather than he trying to protect her from inevitable pain.

Asad, according to me, is shown as an egoistic person. He also thought himself to be quite powerful and considered it his duty to protect everyone around. When Rashid moved out, though, Dilshad, took up a job and supported her family financially and nurtured her kids, she never was so powerful a woman and that must have made Asad the protector of the family. Moreover, he being a traditional man, has considered himself responsible for doing it, because he was the only man around. After all, imho, QH followed and follows very patriarchal values in that sense. (I am always uncomfortable whenever I see Asad heading the dining table always, while imo, it should have been Dilshad.) Note that he takes the decisions at home too, when he clearly is not the eldest member there?!

Even now, Asad Ahmed Khan has not lost his ego, imo. And that is why he is still thinking about protecting Zoya. Asad could only be redeemed now, if he is freed from his own ego also (as he has already been made to face his insecurities upfront). Only then will he be able to accept that he needs help and let others help him? Till then he cannot accept the role reversal!
