I remember how Raghu's character was said to be similar to Robin Hood's. And , no wonder it is so , cause Robin Hood was a body made by other peoples actions , reactions , care and envy around him . He never had the privilege to be made out of his own skin . Isi liye sab ke liye hotey huey bhi , woh apna aap kya kabhi ho naa saka . He is a child and a man made without his own basic skin , cause he did not have to privilege to have so. Let's look at Raghu, from the beginning shall we? A homeless , torn clothed street child who was not belonged by anything of his own , who did not create his own identity till another object\being did not give him help and shelter . And today , we see a political right handed representative made only to honour and protect the King [ Dai maa] , being nurtured by her expectations and roots of guidance , within the entire set of a chessboard game[ aka Mumbai] . And what happens after so many years? A fresh gust of wind with a distinct smell of something unknown yet beautiful comes breezing past this tailored by everyone's skin kya pawn , daring him to become another object made out of another expectation - another skin of identity. But what is Raghu's personal identity? Is there any at all?
Today , as much as we would love to believe that the man inside him is beginning to pave his way in falling in love , we are forgetting the dormant volcano he has been throughout all these years as a being.It will not happen this easily in transforming a dangerous dormant volcano into an island arc.He is not in love with Antara yet. The guy lacks any emotional backing and therefore , when shelter is given to him , there is this responsibility in being the very profession,personality and identity the care taker\helper wants him to be. Uski personal aur individual choice ki koi bhi identity nahi hai jo woh KHUD chahtaa hai . Raghu is an empty black hole that becomes the colour of any coloured streak that comes in front of him for help. But who is Raghu as himself? Exactly. He is a black hole , or rather he is a plain , colourless surface who can only have colour reflected in him only if a single coloured object is in front of him . He does not have the choice of ever being his own colour of identity.And this process is expressed through playing a mouth organ who is a living body of a no man's land. Raghu is basically a pale canvas walking in his invisible road forever , being coloured by whatever colour destiny wants to throw on him .
