Which historical figure should be portrayed on the big screen?

Whose biopic would you like to see? And who would play them?

This year's Golden Globe Awards have been dominated by biographical pictures.

While Forest Whitaker won Best Actor (Film, Drama) for his role as Idi Amin in the Last King of Scotland, the night belonged to Dame Helen Mirren who won Best Actress for both Film and Television for her portrayal of Elizabeth II (in The Queen) and Elizabeth I, respectively.

Which figure from history or public life would you most want to see a movie about? What did you think of the films that won and lost at the Golden Globes?😕

I would love to see an epic film of Rani of Jhansi for her role in protecting India from Britishers. Not much has been said or written abt however she had played a very important role in a number of battles against the british. I would like to see a simple yet strong actress play the role maybe Konkana Sen or Kajol, since i feel they can carry the role. 😳

I havnt seen all of them but if they have won, they must be deserving! 😳 To carry off a bio of another person's character, the way he/she walks, talks is very diffcult, especialy if the person is still alive. So i must say the winners wud be very much deserving for playing such hard roles! 😳 👏 👏

Sambhaji Bhonsale in his early days he showed one too many flaws, but when responsibility fell he shone, the betrayals, would make up for excellent plots

or

Madhavrao Peshwa

or

going back to Mythological days Karna, so many shades, so many positives

and all of them have bitter, untimely early deaths perfect for a movie ending

NTR acted a film on Karna , a film on Ravana and we fall in love with those characters when acted by legends!😊

Cheers,

There are plenty of films on almost all historical figures, some with distortion of facts and some with dramatic acting. I am not interested in that type of portrayal but otherwise I would like to see a good film on Hitler.

😕 We may not learn but we may know something about the lives of people created great impact on that country at that period of time!!!😕

If we don't want to learn, then what will we do just by knowing??? 😕 Is it just curiosity factor???
