I have observed Saraswatichandra show is much about significanve and unspoken deep meaning in scenes .Well many shows use this method but in SC its quit significant
When Saras left Kumud he gave her a white chunni and asked her to keep it pure and white till he comes back to colour it again with colors of their future life together.
He went saat samndar paar, both lovers unknown to the fact that this saat samandar is not just going to be seven seas but sea of confusions and sorrows .The sorrows that engulfed their prospective happiness .
But then Saras did return. He did come re assembling his broken hopes to fill her white chunni with hopes and dreams of their joyous future life together , wishing hard that his Kumud will wait irrespective of blunder he did.
The wretched man had nothing to offer but the payal of his beloved mother which he wanted his bride to wear and Kumud did feel him around and expected his miraculous appearance and stop the blunder she was doing.
Alas ! it never happened all she got was the payal from the man she had been waiting while she sat on the pyre of their future .
The Payal belonged to a of a mother who died unhappy and whose son seems destined to be the same and now it came to Kumud ,who will have it like a prize.A Prize of a faltered relationship yet love that still existed.
So all that Kumud has with herself from her past as memories of her doomed love is the white kori chunni still to be cloured and a payal still to be adorned in her feets and the lady has kept it carefully !
She may claim that she has them as a symbol of promises never fulfilled but then truth is she is still waiting for Saras hopelessly to come back and fullfill them all.
She may claim that she has given herself to the flow of time but the fact is the time has stopped for her .
She will fufill all her material responsibilities as Kumud Sundari never falters from responsibilities entitled .But the kori chunni and and unadorned payal will always be their with her like a doomed shadow keeping her kori and internally unadorned yearning for love .Something which is destined to be done only by Saras
P.s. Strange but True !! in Indian mythology when men and woman decide become one the man puts colours on woman face and body and adorn her with clinging ornaments .And when they make love these coloures get smeared and ornaments cling...i know u people will laugh at me but this is how Krishna is said to make love with Radha on their night together after marriage(something they showed while saras kumud pms !!! )...no chappals..here is the link ..i have a proof
