Thanks for the likes and comments much appreciated. i won't be able to update next week as i am going to Lancaster University Residential so i decided to write this update this weekend and if i have time i will give you a precap during next week but the update would be the following week. Sorry 😭

now for the update.

Chapter Three

Anjali was extremely happy after the phone call and was just waiting for the right time to tell her husband, even though she promised not to tell anyone, she couldn't hide anything from her husband. So after dinner when everyone had retired to there rooms Anjali decided to bring up the subject.

'Shyam ji, i have some great news' she started as Shyam and her settled in the bed cuddling eachother. 'Really Rani Sahiba, so please tell me the great news na' 'chotte is coming home tommorow!' She said excitedly. Shyam pulled out of there cuddle and sat up against the headboard with a straight face. Anjali confused by his behaviour sat up and asked 'whats the matter' 'Rani Sahiba, they aren't going to be back for another week yet, how have you come to this conclusion' God this women is a handful he thought. 'He called' Anjali replied coldly as she folded her arms under her chest upset because her husband didn't believe her.

Shock was an underestimated for shyam's reaction, 'WHAT SAALE SAHAB CALLED YOU??' Saying that he jumped out of the bed and started pacing startling Anjali. It was only she came up to him and held his shoulder did he realise what he just did and immediately started thinking of an explanation. 'Rani Sahiba, i thought i would be able to tell you this in a non rushed manner but if they are returning tomorrow then i need to tell you this now' he held her by the shoulders and led her to the bed and sat on the floor infront of her.

'I know you love Saale Sahab a lot so its important you know this, I'm sorry i didn't tell you before but i couldn't' he paused, and sent a quick pray to god that she buys his lie this time. 'Khushi doesn't love Arnav, shes after his money' anjali opened her mouth to say something but Shyam cut her off. 'before you say anything hear me out. You would be thinking how do I know this right' she nodded. ' well about a month before she came home with Saale Sahab as his girlfriend, i had a restraining order against her for a month that she had to stay away from me, because she was stalking me' He got up and turned away from her and walked to the window to hide his smirk and continued looking out to the garden from the window whilst he spoke.

'i had met her when i went to AR to meet Saale Sahab for some signatures, she worked as a designer there, when i was walking out of the office she came up to me and introduced herself and i, myself. After that she kept trying to seduce me whenever I went to AR or if she saw me despite knowing i was married. That's when I figured that she is one of the gold-digger types, who use rich people for there money and i had a restraining order against her. I even spoke to Saale Sahab about it but he didnt agree and eventually told me not to go to the office unless its extremely important. Since then i have no doubt that she had probably brainwashed Saale Sahab into thinking that she is really sweet and will leave him.'

he turned to look at his wife to see if she had brought it but saw that she was in deep thought, so he decided to go up to her and sit beside her. once he sat Anjali turned to him and said 'I already knew she was brainwashing Chotte'

Gupta House

'Doctor sahib, come in...Mrs Gupta what happened when you called you sounded extremely worried..yes doctor, Khushi and Arnav have been injured, please come on in.' Garima led the Doctor to Khushi's bedroom and entered just as Arnav cut the call, startling them all. the doctor went towards khushis side of the bed and notice a small pool of blood starting to collect just under her left thigh. 'Arnav can you help me lay her down, Khushi can you tell me what and how this happened' the doctor (female) asked as Arnav helped Khushi lay down on her back and she inspected the wound from the rip in her Salwar. Khushi looked up to Arnav and he understood that she wouldn't be able to say it and spoke for her. 'Actually Doctor, Khushi and I had been Kidnapped'

'WHAT...KIDNAPPED??' shouted Shashi from behind the doctor giving her a small heart attack. 'Mr Gupta please calm down.' 'What the hell do you mean calm down my children get kidnapped and you want me to calm down' shashi shouted at the doctor. The doctor looked at Khushi and Arnav and both gave a knowing look and Arnav took hold of the situation. 'Papa why don't you come outside i will explain everything to you whilst the doctor looks at Khushi,' Arnav, Shashi and Garima walked out and Arnav left the door ajar so the doctor could hear but mainly so he could keep an eye on Khushi knowing she didnt want him to leave her alone but had no choice but to go.

They settled outside and Arnav sat with his face to Khushi's room so he was directly in her view line and she his, and started to recall everything that happened the day they left for London. (The kidnap track is the same as the show but instead of just Arnav it was both of them and no one was trying to find them assuming they were in London.) 'so how did you and Khushi manage to look like this' Garima asked just as she finished cleaning Arnav's arm wound and bandaged it. 'We had managed to escape yesterday and we ran away, we didnt know where we were or where we were going. It was getting dark and we needed to hide. We came across a hut and decided to stop there for the night' we got inside and there was a box of clothes possible from a play in there, so we got out of our dusty cloths and put on something comfortable to run in and fell asleep' he paused. 'I woke up to some noise outside and realised that the thugs were behind us. When i peeped through the window i saw one of the guys on the phone. He was talking to the kidnapper, he spotted us and went to get the others but i didn't no until i heard some running, i woke up Khushi and we ran and the followed, sometimes shooting at us. We were near the main road when a bullet scraped across my arm, then one hit Khushi's leg. I picked her up and managed to find a Taxi before the kidnappers found us and we made our way back to the airport. I picked up the SUV and we came straight here.' Arnav had just finished when he saw the doctor moving towards them. He stood up and let her sit down.

By this time Arnav had told them about the kidnap story the doctor had taken the bullet our of Khushi's thigh and dress Khushi's wound and had helped her change into another salwar. She told her to rest and left the room to speak to the rest of the family.

'She will be fine, its not a deep wound and hasn't done a lot of damage to her tissue or nerves. It will take at least 2 - 3 weeks for her to recover. During that time the less she is on her feet the better, but that doesn't be she is to be bed ridden.' She said looking towards Arnav then continued. 'Help her walk to and from the living room to the bedroom once a day and she will be able to recover quicker. Also the less she thinks about the accident the better, otherwise she may start going into depression which is commonly linked in traumatic incidents' (dunno if this is true in real life but it is in my FF). 'Okay i will take your leave, if anything happens or she is in pain, please do ring me' Garima led the doctor out while Arnav and Shashi went back to Khushi's room.

'Who did this to you' Shashi asked as he and Arnav watch Khushi and Garima from the Door. 'Shyam Manohar Jha aka Jiju' 'Kya that Kamina made an entry into our lives again i thought we got rid of him when we got that restraining order, Arnav this has gone to far now, i cant keep quiet anymore. We have to tell your family' 'I know papa and that's why i told Di that we are coming tomorrow and that i have something important to tell her'

End of flashback

'Arnav, baby we have arrived come on let's go and check-in.' Khushi said to bring him out of his thoughts. They had arrived at the airport and the luggage was being taken out of the trunk . They four said there goodbyes to Payal and Akash and headed in to check-in for their flight. Once they were in through security Shashi and Garima headed to the cafe whilst Khushi and Arnav went towards the Waiting Area.

'Whats the matter Arnav, what are you thinking about.' Khushi asked as soon as they were alone. What arnav spoke wasnt what khushi expected. 'I love you Khushi' he said and pulled her into a hug. Khushi was confused by his sudden declaration of love as he only said this when he feared something or was feeling extremely romantic and the later didn't fit into the situation. so she was trying to think of what might have happened when she felt her shoulder wet. Pulling out of the hug she noticed his red eyes and saw tears falling. Now there is something definitely wrong. But what happened.
