This season of JDJ is a BIG disappointment

.It was always told that colors was biased towards its stars...I never felt it so much as in this season.there is definitely a bias in favor of DD and Salman[note

that I am not commenting on their dance skills]and also Siddarth Shukla.In the latter's case though he keeps scoring low he always manages to move onto the next round.Much as i like him,I am honest in acknowledging that he is no dancer and Sonia is only partly to blame.

2.Standard of dances:disappointing.Dance is about grace and expressionsind the former sorely lacking.I am finding the kids steps also repetetive.

3.Judging:Inane and repetitive remarks.cannot gauge the scale on which marks are handed out.A couple of weeks back I found Karanvir's feather dance really cute and decent but he was given very low marks

4.Anchoring:Initially targetting only the girls and madhuri,which at present has thankfully been toned down a little

5.Decency:It is on this point that I am most disappointed.The dresses are getting shorter each week,dances are getting sleazier(oops sensuous,as per the judges).I am unable to watch it comfortably in the same room with my parents[know there will be posts telling me to stop watching]

These are just my viewpoints.Is there someone out there who feels the same?Looks like television will soon need a censor board

Anyways, I agree with some things and disagree with others. I don't think the show is a total disappointment, but yes I do think the standard is falling.

I absolutely agree that Colors is very obviously promoting their stars this season. DD and Sid get the most screen time and the channel is not even trying to be fair to the other contestants :/

The standard of dance does not bother me too much. I think it's usual JDJ fare and now there is improvement with the new wild card entrants.

Judging is definitely a problem with me too. Acts that deserve 30s don't get them and acts that don't get them Their scoring seems off to me :/

Anchoring is where I disagree with you. I actually enjoy it 😆

And I also disagree with the decency part. While I agree that the contestants are choosing to wear extremely western outfits, I also think that it is due to the rising trend to wear such clothes in Bollywood. Heck even non celeb reality talent shows have such sensual clothes and performances!

One thing that stood out in your post is that being a Sid fan you agree that he ain't a good dancer and moves on to the next round with limited talent unlike some people who knowing themselves that the dances are atrocious and odious still hang on to protect the contestants like babies.

And I agree on some points while disagree on some others, but yeah, the show has become a stage for movie promotions, show promotions. The standard of the show has defiantly fallen down and the earlier zeal I used to find in the contestants is gone with the wind...

So to say I find the show, disappointing yet entertaining!

Nothing to correct u on Buddy ! Spot on..

The most annoying part is Madhubala and the hype / stuffs around her.. This show has totally become Madhubala Dikhla Jaa season 1 like someone mentioned..

I like the Anchors thing... But the moment judges are out to gve scores, I am again put off.. This yr scores dont make any sense.. Dance isn't there.. More like a circus..

So yeah ! 👎🏼

Superb topic...i find it weird wid many thing...if remo is first one to comment karan n madhuri easily pick up words 4m his statements n add sum 2-3 words (sply madhuri wid her fake accent...yy she is hell bend on showing she is foreign return...its annoying me now)...

Den madhuri on every sec moves to stage yyy dont she fix her seat on da stage only...

Den karan how can on earth is possible dat personal lyk him who says dat i wasnt use to be in top 10 is judging a dance reality show.. can dey get sumone who could dance well...or noone waa interested...

Den comes da steps it vulgar n cheap...mostly r doing repetetive steps...n wat is dis skin show...

Den comes da dressing who design dere clothes...ufff such cheap hankis 4 gals...n 4 guys only pants r available coz full material is use to cover sidharth...

I agree wid u if she wins da show widout putting much efgort i wont be surprised...infact b4 da show started it was clear she is winner of season 6...i feel bad 4 others...next tym colors should take only dere actors...

I disagree on the dance part, I like the new wild card entrants, lauren is good, judging disappoints me as well! Anchoring is not too impressive nor dat bad according to me.The clothes don't offend me, I have seen them previously in many dance shows n even bollywood numbers so no big deal, but to each it's own!

It's not only unfair to the other contestants.. But also to Madhubala herself who is being given the impression that she is worth getting 30 on 30..

Perfect score for her would be 20.. Only IGT kids and Lauren deserve 28/29... No one's worth getting 30.. But KVB, Shaan are coming across as LOT better than Madhubala.. Yet, she is given the impression she is better than all..

Makes no sense to me.. She is already over-confident about her winning.. These marks would do more harm to her confidence.. 🤔
