okay, the title might in itself be a bit misleading. but guys, i really really want the cvs to kill ruqaiyya. why you ask??? because i like jodha and i am a big believer in the institution of marriage. akbar is married to ruqaiyya. i dont support polygamy but yet i forgave akbar because despite being polygamous he had eyes only for his first wife. honestly, from the past few episodes it seems as if akbar is enamored with ruqaiyya. he has tremendous care and affection for her, is physically intimate with her, trusts her so much that he asked MA for proof . from, what i have seen akbar seems to revel in her company and has little to no regard for other wives. ergo, they are living a content happy, married life. for all who argue jalal doesnt have a heart and jodha will "transform" him (jalal did not come off as heartless to me, cold maybe but not cruel), is that really an excuse? are you really supposed to give away your husband happily so that his new wife could transform him? because his new wife is his supposed "soulmate"?so akbar is supposed to get over his old wife because his new wife is different and better than his old wife. that sentence in itself is horribly wrong. honestly, because when jodha comes into the picture, to the average indian wife, she would look like a homewrecker!!! someone who came in between a couple who are happy with each other!! and honestly ruqaiyya would be justified in her anger. i cannot sympathise with jodha even if she turns out to be hundred times better than ruqaiyya. so i want the cvs to kill ruqaiyya (they can since they are already taking so many creative liberties and the whole love story of jodha and akbar is a farceanyways). i love this fictional character of jodha and i want to be on her side so pls kill ruqaiyya. that would be much more preferable to us than her turning into a vamp.

Even Rajput kings had multiple wives. Maharana Pratap had 25 mothers. Polygamy was very common during that time. Not just among the royals but in general. Ruquiyya is an important part of mughal history and outlived Akbar by 20 years. Why should they kill her? Just to paint a pretty picture?

The thought also struck me...that Ruqaiya might die at childbirth or something like that...but as per history...she outlived her husband...so there is no scope of taking so much of creative liberty as killing Ruqaiya...

I understand the feeling that both Jalal and Ruqaiya are comfortable with each other...and there is no need for a third person...and it would give the impression of Jodha as some one coming in between them...but the point is that Jodha is Jalal's first love...and by love...i mean genuine love...which he does not feel for Ruqaiya...

He respects Ruqaiya...he is her companion and friend...but he does not love her...

u r right...
aj pata chala jaan, hamare pass dil bhi hai..."
Dat will be the day of LOVE😳
