Its a mulberry bush-thoughts for 12th july on pg 4

Ok I thought that I won't be writing any more of this but today's episode reminded me of the nursery rhyme...round the mulberyy bush. I do accept that I have not watched the entire show and have fast forwarded quite a bit...I have watched Divya's part...some of the PV parts specially the ones containing Kamu and Sohu and some of Zoya's parts. Anyway...coming to the points...

1) Sarita and her one track mind regarding the object of her attention or love or whatever one might refer to it as. She does not care regarding anything else. So earlier she wanted Raj and hence got married to him despite knowing that he is in love with some other girl and also despite her parents not wanting to go forward with this marriage. Later she got Divya involved because she saw that as her only way to get Raj. Divya's thoughts were of no importance but getting Raj was. Now she wants to sacrifice for Raj and wants Divya to get together with Raj...whereas Divya does not want to do anything of this sort and she wants to leave these two and go away. But since Sarita is now playing a game of filling the blank...she wants to replace her with Divya in Raj's life...and again what Divya wants is immaterial. Anyway she herself said that she can do anything for Raj...so why bother what others might feel regarding her and her one track mind.

2) Sarita also said that she won't let Divya repeat the mistake that she did 10 years back by leaving Raj. So has Raj told her why and how he and Divya separated? I mean since I don't know what exactly happened so that's why I was asking. Or did Sarita mean that Divya took a wrong decision is leaving behind Raj and choosing to look after her family? I mean sinc she chose to ignore her parents wish and chose to marry Raj. Anyway, even if Divya took the wrong decision...has Sarita looked at herself in the mirror to see whether she is also not repeating her mistake again? I mean at that time she rushed into marriage for love and this time she is rushing into divorce again for love...so what is she doing now that is different from before? If someone can explain to me I will be very grateful.

3) Rohan another chap...he was shouting at that guy that the chap has no manners that he only wants to get married to unmarried virgin girls. Can someone please tell me that what different is Rohan doing? He rejected Sarita and went for Shiela because of the same reason. I am not saying that all the purity test was ok...it wasn't and that slap was needed. The only thing different between that chap and Rohan is that the chap is blunt and a fool while Rohan is soft and clever...he did not ask blunt questions to Sarita but took her aside...sweetly asked her all questions and touched her hand to watch her reactions. Otherwise both the cousins are the same.

4) Irrespective of the fact whether Raj gets together with Sarita or with Divya, Sarita has very good chance of being an excellent public relations officer. Actually any multinational company should be jumping to get her on board. The rate at which she is going, soon the entire world will get to know that Raj is very nice...she loves Raj...and she is sacrificing because she loves Raj. I thought people who sacrifice do it quietly and do not tell anyone of their intentions. That lady from the 10 pm show said that she will broadcast about Sarita in her show...so does that mean that we are soon going to have another ME but this time with the 10 pm show only? Why don't they do a koffee with Karan sort of episode...I mean then atleast we will get to know something about Raj and Divya, because only Sarita has the authority to tell us all that and no one else.

5) So let me get this straight...I know it is a circle but I am trying to make it straight...Divya has sacrificed for Raj and Sarita and she does not want to enter the house anymore...she wants them to be happy with each other...Sarita wants to sacrifice for Raj and now she wants to bring Divya back into the house...Raj has decided to sacrifice his love for Divya if he does not get a better groom for Sarita...Ok I give up...when will we stop going around the mulberry bush? Oh yes it all depends on the TRP mata.

6) What Zoya said was true...if they continue with these nautankis regarding Sarita's remarriage then this is what they are going to get.

7) There were no changes in creative team today,...I thought of mentioning this since they keep on changing.

I read the update...didnt watch the epi, but later will do watch divya's parts...
It was very funny how they picked the groom, just like those fishes were eyeing the bait that guy eyed sarita and kamla( i think) was ready to give her away...it was weird that raj agreed so quickly..yeah he fixed it by that slap but what is he going to do now, live with a woman he divorced in the same house,. or worse, same room?! is that right by sarita?! no wonder that the grooms will question her..

Misti, you are back with your mulberry bushes. I haven't watched the episode and will only watch the parts you mentioned. This show has become so boring with this "sacrificing" Sarita act that it is a chore to watch it.

Myra, Sarita and Raj continues to live in the same room even after the divorce. So what is so strange that they would continue to do so for next one month. This is one strange weird couple.

Well, thanks for writing. It's entertainment for me (esp today when I could not understand the WU with so many characters)

Sarita's one-track mind? Well, I don't know if she does have a mind at all (to think) or she takes decisions out of whims. She does seem to have a obsessive personality. Also, she has a very limited vision where she can't look at the larger picture. Like what happens to her after her PV? Though I differ from you on one thing - I think she knows that Divya loves Raj as well. Divya herself gave multiple hints while she was at Sarita's place - slip ups about her and Raj's past, telling Sarita how difficult it was for her, rushing to Raj's aid when he was aid, admitting to Raj that she came back for him. In fact, had she not been in love, she would have slapped Raj after Raj back hugged her.

This is something I don't understand - why is Sarita's PV a pre-requisite for Raj's PV. They are divorced, let them do their own PVs when they want. Why this sequencing? Sarita's divorce was the right thing to do and looong due - only her reasons are incorrect. I am even more concerned about her PV decision. Does she even understand that she is now involving a fourth person - who would also have expectations from the marriage. Would we get another leap of 10 years after which we will see another circle of one sided love and coldness / indifference between Sarita and her her new hubby.

Rohan is a clever guy - he knew how to get around with being obvious. As obvious is the only thing that Raj and co understand - they don't really get the subtle. That's why everyone at Raj's home is so crass and loud.

I would love if CVs show a twist - that Sarita was all along manipulating Raj (she got the idea after seeing Raj's response to Divya's lie). That would be wicked if Raj falls in love with Sarita and then finds out that all that sacrifice was a farce. Why else would anyone advertise one's sacrifice so much?

Ah, sacrifice - is that the ultimate human quality? The show has no other focus except sacrifice. Divya's sacrifice for family / Raj / Sarita, Raj's sacrifice for Sarita / Divya, Sarita's sacrifice for Raj. Can't they showcase other qualities that I find more admirable - Divya's fighting spirit and tenacity, Raj's artistic bent, Sarita going back to her hobbies / talents that she gave up after marriage. Why can't they show that Sarita opting for PV is her rational decision, not a sacrifice as she is anyways not getting anything out of this marriage. Will she really sacrifice anything if she remarries a nice guy who's actually interested in her.

6) What Zoya said was true'.if they continue with these nautankis regarding Sarita's remarriage then this is what they are going to get.

Not only Raj, his entire family is full of artists. They can together open a nautanki company and play "Meri patni ka swayamvar" 😉 - none of them have any self-consciousness and are anyways acting before an audience (their guests) all the time. Is Zoya Qubool hai's lead? She looks very smart and outspoken- unlike other traditional, soft-spoken leads I have seen in shows / promos.

7) There were no changes in creative team today'..I thought of mentioning this since they keep on changing. Does it even matter 😊? The characters are so blurry, that anyone can start from a clean slate now.
