yes you read right, there will not be TRP ratings of shows for next 1 month.

Well it's bit relief for TV shows, As they don't need to worry about their Serial scripts now. it's a blackout of TAM TV ratings.

So for the next one, No GRP and TRP ratings will be released by TAM.

According to the highly laced industry sources TAM date will be reported on monthly basis. stating today fro 9 major networks 'on their request' also, their date will be reported in '000s instend of shares, which means CPT buying.

the networks inculde Star India(with Asianet, ESPN star sports). Multi screen meadia, Viacom18, TV18, Zee Network, Times Television network. India TV, NDTV and few more.

The Best Media-Info report had pointed out the broadcasters were veering round to monthly TAM date, CPT based media buying and a threshold for niche channels.

However, TAM will continue to report the data on weekly and share basis for all other broadcaster
