In today's episode i was rather intrigued by the dialogues said by Jalal and the women in the harem everything seems to be foreshadowing Jodha's presence and arrival to the Mughal Empire and in Jalal's heart.

I will paraphrase

Jalal said that if someone or something that sticks out or is different from others will attract him.

There is a hint to Jodha here.This dialogue was purposely written by the Cvs to symbolise Jodha's strength,her compassion for others,her resilience,her endurance,her bravery and her personality rather than just her beauty will attract Jalal to her and eventually make him fall in love with her.Jodha is in a crowd by herself.

Jalal also said that is he likes something he makes sure he gets in at any cost.

Another hint at Jodha here.Jalal hasnt got a real taste of Jodha's character as yet.He is mesmerised and infatuated by her beauty.He like her...means he gets her...his male ego makes sure nothing stands in his way...his arrogance makes him willing to pay any price to make her his forever.

The women in the Harem said that one day the cunning Ruqaiya will meet her match.They said that only LOVE can free the Shahenshah of this mental subordination.No one so far out of the hundreds if not thousands of women in the harem has been able to outsmart and outdo Ruqaiya.No one but Jodha of course.These women's and their gossip is foreshadowing the future of Ruqaiya and the impact of Jodha.It is love that is going to free Jalal from all this manipulation and cunningness of people around him.Ruqaiya may be his first wife but lets see how much influence she has with Jalal as soon as Jodha's magic starts working.

This post is purely my thoughts,my perspectives and not based on historical facts

Even though Jalal is very far from Jodha, he still feels and thinks about her. Mind can never rule over Heart. Heart and Mind are together most terrible combination either of them never agree with each other 😆

firstly an extremely well written piece secondly a very relevant point. infact i had come to the forum 2 contribute my 2 cents about this over emphasized and some what over elaborate show of rulal.and my thoughts are very similar to that of your's.indeed all that is being shown is a foreshadoing of what is to come in d near future.but i wud like to stretch ur ponts a little backward.😳😳😳😳😳
the first mention of rukaiya begum came when jalal's mother enthusiastically asks if he misses her.although jalal does't lie yet someWher his mention of ruquiya and maham anga is seasoned in viciousness, to act as a rebuking retort to a mother whom he assumes to be selfish.what i mean is ,he does't mention them as a yearning in his heart or rather like a happy or somewhat intriguing memory which i feel is the way he remembers jodha.there is love care and respect but the is also a finitude given to what ever emotins he has 4 them.coz he actually adds a temporal value to them
"hum unhe din may do bar yaad karteh hai"(i remember her twice a day)
love yearning and every emotion which germinates 4m the heart cant have a limitation attached to itself.therfore as u my friend so rightly point out ,these feelings even though we do call them emotions are actually a product of his mind
"hum unke dimaag may rehteh hai"( i stay in his mind") as ruquika says
the wish to meet jodha was impulsive and 4m d moment he meets jodha to his ultimate decision to give back aamer to get jodha i feel will all be decisions driven by impulse.now it is not love which he feels for jodha but it is something which he ALSO doesn't do from his mental faculties.😳😳😳
ok now coming back to rukaiya,the second time he wishes to meet rukaiya is when he is perplexed with the complexities of kingship though these complexities are somewhat personal in nature.ruquiya is unique to him coz she helps him solve personal issues,exactly what our friends help us to do.
but d fact that he has given her this right to advice him also comes from jalal's love for intelligent people.he himself is very intelligent and we also like like minded people.remember how much he loves abdul?he gave abdul his shamsher!😳😳😳😳😳
ruquiya on her part as one of my friends in another topic her pointed out😛😛😛😛😛😛 ,plays a mental chess with him.its indeed a game coz each dialogue one delivers to the other is a challenge,like putting forward a "chal".
jalal is intrigued bur he is not fascinated. if we compare his expressions when he is about to throw his dagger to save abdul and jodha stops,he is shocked and almost stunned.when he realises her motive he is happily enchanted,yesterday's scene when rukaiya didnt put up a stall,jalal's expression said he somewhat knows the course of ruquiya's action,but he wants to know how she will do it😳😳😳😳

ok,after so much talk,my last point would be jodha,all begums of jalal try and they try so hard to attract him.rukaiya succeeds coz she knows the way better or at least that way better which goes to jalal's mind.the first place wher jodha will differ,i feel is that,she will NOT try to hold his attention
secondly her beauty and extreme hatred juxtaposed together will fuel his passion.jodha as u said so well will always AND UNINTENTIONALLY stand out which is what will make jalal experience the rarest of emotions-UNCONDITIONAL.IRREVOCABLE LOVE😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛😛

With the way things are progressing, Ruqaiya is bound to turn into a villain. And why not? After all, Jalal's heart's presence will be a shocking discovery to her.

Moreover, that heart would belong to another begum, a Rajput princess, who passionately hates him. She would think to herself, "I don't even let him apologize to me, but this new girl, kicks him, beats him, insults him and now rules his heart?" HOW the hell and WHY!?!?! Answers to these questions she will never find!
