Before I come to the essence of today's episode, just a few "What the " moments which even though with the pre-shot scenes and patchwork could have been avoided.
1. Asad should have made a call to BCA , asking her where is she and what is taking her so long to get her stuff from the hotel. Unless of course, he was too engrossed in moping over Zoe.
2. Zoe-Tannu's confrontation and Asad's wait by the car were at the same location. Some dialogue insert should have been there to justify Zoe not seeing or finding Asad.
3. I understand divine intervention, i also accept that the holy chaddar flew from Asad to Zoe to save her. Dramatic license works here fine. But what does not work is that a heavy folded sheet flies in the wind just like that. And that the cloth has neither anyone holding it on the hill top and nor do i understand how that sheet can take human weight even if its caught in some rock or bush. It should tear and go down. You can dramatize as much as you want but laws of physics can be changed only by Rajnikant. But nevertheless, great job at the push and fall by Surbhi and the stunt team and the editors who enhanced it.
Now, coming to the point of the post:
For me, it was all about Zoe today ( as much as am loving AyRa) - her trust, her faith and her signature confident arrogance was back - why? Because she knows that Asad loves her, is waiting for her and that he did not betray her. There is no depression or defeatist tone to her anymore. She doesn't even wait for BCA's confession and she does not need it. She is confident now that Asad is still a dettol bottle. So, when inebriated in her love for Asad, Zoe verbally beats the living daylights out of BCA, even that slime ball is not able to look at Zoe in the eye. Zoe's anger comes down and she remembers how desperately and pleadingly Asad had told her that he loves her - and now, when he is not around to hear her answer , she says it for herself , reinstating all that she had left behind - that she loves Asad and that too with all the energy that she has left inside her. Aur waise bhi dil se dil ko raah hotee hai. Asad felt that he heard Zoe - hopefully, he will get to hear what he wanted to hear from Zoe.
Death is not for Zoe - not without Asad at least.So, no matter how OTT the life saving moment , Zoe will fly back into Asad's arms. But , but, but... the MDQ. Will this trust, confidence , faith stay intact when the slimeball plays her pregnancy card? Will Zoe still stand by Asad, who at that sick point, will hang his head to get slaughtered?
Its a test. At every step of the way.
P.S- Can Razia and BCA stop saying ' Ya Allah' everytime their necks get saved? Uparwaale ka naam shaitaan ke munnh se accha nahiin lagtaa. Ketki has such a flawless face - beautiful. I loved the Siddiqui House scenes today, lekin abb Badee Bii dikhh jaayein toh behtar hogaa.
