best friend=life?

So often have we heard the phrase: "you're my best friend, I trust you with my life"-obviously modified in different ways...

So is it true that you can trust some one else with something as precious as your life, or go to that extent?

Can a relationship become that strong?

What is meant by trust?

i cant trust any human with my life. i love my family and friends...but i can never trust them with my life ( or alot of others things)

I'm a person with strong likes and dislikes. If I find a person with interests and if their thoughts match with mine, I adore them and I don't like missing them and in general my role models are my best friends and I trust them a lot.

Dr Abhijit Shukla of this forum is of this category.Even though I don't know him I trust him a lot.Same with MNMS !!

Yes!! We can trust best friends provided they are as crazy as we are!!

I Believe trust is imp thing in life.............Without trust you cant do anything...

First thing is trust yourself...Then only u can trust others........If we try to judge ppls always we dont have time to love............

All are just good in diff ways .........i trust all my friends....

My friends tell me starting from 15th of a month till 30th "You are our bumpal Baddie, we trust you with our lives"!

well trust is an important thing! I do trust my family adn very close friends who understands me and feel the same way, or if we have a lot in common! 😊

Your post took me on a journey back into childhood. At every stage of growing up, I remember having many friends and a best friend. Apparently, best friends changed.. They all are still close and dear to my heart. During a certain lonely phase in my life, my best friends were my chat-buddies. REALLY! Many a times, I wonder if life partner should really be one's best friend.

I think proximity changes based on situations / age / priprities that guide your life at various stages. I trusted those people a whole lot during those phases and tried my best to be trustworthy in return.

Can I trust my life / give my life for a friend? I don;t know / think so. It is easy to say I'll die for you. What happens when it comes to doing it? Thus far, I have jumped in the middle of a raging car only to save my mom- a blood relation- proof of very existence of God.

I have many close friends and they all matter to me! Life would be nothing without them.

Best friend is such a subjective, loose and temporary term IMHO. It can vanish in thin air in a moment without notice or explanation.

To me "best friend (Jigry Dost)" is for life but not to everyone. Each has their own definition and life term.

well trust is and imp ingredient in any relationship ...... no relationship survives without trust .......
but i don sy i can trust anyone more than myself ........ but yes i do say i trust a person as much as i trust myself ....... and tat person shud be obviously very close to my heart ......... 😊
